i was told the food here is superb. coming to try myself for cny set. a place i know will not be in my list for any event . a lot of room for improvement for services!
Try the Yu Sheng - Xi Yan's signature Tri-Colour yu sheng. kumquat-honey sauce, with lots of crispy wonton skin. Raw fish includes salmon , tuna , swordfish and fish roe . yum!
Dim Sum is great, authentic steamed dumpling in "Teochew" style is a must try as not many place can make this traditional dumpling skin transparent and soft.
Tasty dim sum lunch for value. xiao long bao was pretty delish but har kaw is not as well made. All and all, a good value for team lunch .
I had a set meal to together with my family to celebrate my mom’s birthday recently. The quality of the food was really bad compared to some years back. The restaurant must have changed the chef .
Dim sum was just the usual traditional style . Yam paste was a great disappointment though
Old school place but the dim sum is underwhelming - over seasoned and too salty. May be nostalgic for some but overpriced for what you get.
Nice place for dinners , gatherings , celebrations and karaoke !
Fried Yam ball with lychee n custard . Super delightful combo. My fav alternative to HongXing!
Dim sum gathering for mother-in-law birthday brunch
Try the Zhenjiang Spare Ribs - Pork ribs slow cooked in zhenjiang vinegar for 4 to 6 hours... tender, tangy !
The chefs must have changed. Food tasted much better now.
Love the crisy bean curd !
Best quality and value dim sum in town .
Try the Fried prawn-paste groupa with pomelo sauce
Came here for cny gathering . Portion's small and there are virtually no shark fin in the shark fin soup , the fried ee mee has only a few pieces of mushrooms and no other ingredients. :(
Dim sum is great and affordable :)
Not bad dim sum here.

An Italian Dolcetto d'alba goes very well with the teochew style braised goose. Excellent combination ! - Sean CSW
Honey Ribs stunning - complex sweet with chilli warmth - and Hae Chor with Lime Dipping Sauce equally scrumptious. We'll be back. - Andrew Mowat
Don't forget to go to chinatown night market. Low price, many choices for presents/gifts. - Christy Sucahyo
Curry chicken noodles. Heng Kee 01-58 serves a generous and tasty bowl. Their curry base is thick and flavourful. For added spicy kick, add the chilli sauce - Cheen The Curious
Indonesian meal at the food court very yummy. This picture is my fav. Package 1 chicken and squid with Indonesian curry sauce. - Annie Auj
