The Capitol Theatre

One of the best venues I've ever been to. Great acoustics with a nice sloping floor that allows everyone to see the stage . Great beer selections at the bar .

Great venue! Wonderful acoustics , your choice of GA/floor or seats for concerts . Friendly and helpful staff . Go early to take advantage of metered parking ($3 vs. $20) have a drink at Garcia 's.

Killer place to see a show. Seen The Roots, Dirty Projectors , Regina Spektor and Sleigh Bells so far and each show has been unique and incredible. More people need to come out though! -- The Mayor

So happy the Cap is back! Unlike a lot of venues you can see the stage in GA because of the slopped floor. Friendly staff . Easy to get a beer . Old school interior. Garcia’s is cool too!

Old theater with removed seats which makes for a nice sloped floor with great sight lines in general admission area. Place has character.

Historic concert venue . Jerry Garcia 's favorite. Amazing sound system and great acts. Can see from anywhere in the theatre . Great beers and the attached bar Garcia 's is great as well .

Get there early and have a drink in the bar . The chairs (which are upscale folding chairs) in our row, Row L in orchestra, were tipped forward due to the slope of the floor. Not comfortable .

Great venue to see any band. Very clean and updated, beers are a bit on the high side, but overall a great place

Best band calendar of any venue in the tri-state area in the fall/winter of 2012. The venue itself is gorgeous with easily accessible amenities .

Amazing venue. Great sound, lights, very easy to get around in and very close to the train station . This is a very easy spot to get to from the city .

The Cap is back and better than ever. Easy access off of major highways, 1,835-person capacity and a 6-month renovation has brought this Port Chester theater back to life. The East will rock again!

If you are going to a show that will likely sell out, you may want to get reserved balcony instead of GA floor . The last few Phil Lesh shows were oversold and super crowded on the floor!

At the Cap in Oct. 1997, the Rolling Stones and David Bowie put on two, seperate unforgettable shows at the Cap as part of the MTV Live at the 10 Spot concert series. Fabulous!

Incredible venue. Most shows are sparsely attended so it feels more intimate than a show in the city . Loge seats are just plastic chairs on the GA area.

Such an amazing theater -- intimate but large. And they have bars on both floors.

Nice theater , but it’s never pleasant taking that return train to Grand Central after a show.

Walls breathe rock and roll history, feels like a classic British venue.

GA floor seats said SRO, but actually was 25 rows of comfy padded folding chairs with cup-holder arm rests.

Applebee's, Buffalo Wild Wings and Panera less than a 5 minute walk away.

Get there early bc they made us wait 45 on a line around the block in the freezing cold. When we got inside we realized they had enough employees they just didn't know how to use them productively.

Nice venue, good sound, but the security and management staff is the worst I've ever seen. Is this a Miami club? No fun, no dancing , they even made my friend throw away her birthday cake . No joke.

Feels like we're on a flight at this Willie Nelson concert with all these old people standing up to get their circulation back.

Sound is amazing just about everywhere!!

Regardless of what you hear, they do have a liquor license and its not crazy city expensive .
