Hanifa Valley

The valley runs for a length of 120 km, cutting through the city of Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. A string of towns and villages lie along the valley, including Uyaynah, Irqah and Diriyah.

Wadi Hanifa is the longest and most important valley near Riyadh because it features a natural water drainage course that covers an area larger than 4,000 square kilometres.
