This Midtown spot may have taken a while to find its footing, but the stylish room's mix of craft beer and cocktails has settled in nicely. The large, free, adjacent parking lot is a nice touch.
This is a great spot. The beer selection is great. The atmosphere and ambience are top-notch. They play great music . The building is fantastic.
Served in various vintage barware, this expansive space with exposed wood, large garage-style windows and community seating should not be missed on your next night out. Read more
The assorted meat and cheese plate is on it and the beer selection is good. Nice dim bar for a drink before date night or drinks with friends. Not romantic per say, but quaint.

There is plenty of parking space . The bar is open and has high ceilings . You can hear nice music while still be able to carry a conversation. Must check out if you are in midtown.
Try Leprechaun cider ! All natural and Gluten free , the crisp Granny Smith and golden delicious apples makes this a great cider you don't want to miss out on!
The gin and tonic is amazing, made with homemade tonic, also try the tomolino😍👌🏽🍹
Amazing beer garden ! Get a nice Belgium beer on tap , the midnight special soft pretzel ... And just be happy :)!
Bring a blanket and google. It's cold and the beers and drinks are obscure. A great place to go when it's slow enough to talk to the bartenders

SEO Specialist Josh lists MvsC as one of his topspots in Houston. The moss-covered building doesn't have a sign out front - but it does have free parking in the Greensheets lot.
Tuesday night historical menu. That's all I have to say. Every Tuesday night- new cocktails made one night only. I'm always there.
The knowledgable staff means I (you!) can enjoy new gluten free mixed drinks without fear (also Leprechaun cider on tap ). Large rotation of beers .
Love my little different Sunday stops, busy as shit too... live music , awesome cockails, would love a joint like this in the future
If you order the pretzel with the "midnight special" option, be prepared to have plenty of water on hand... It comes with fresh diced Serrano peppers on it :-0
Great stop off the light rail in Midtown. Interesting, unique beers arise in this gem.
The baby daiquiri is a mistake. The stout and stormy is an acquired taste. The mongoose always win.
Come here for the interesting selection of craft beers pulled from a space age-looking preservation system. They go great with the... Read more
Brooklyn sorachi ace, chainbreaker white ipa , pickled eggs and their meat and cheese plates are great.
Try the Red Pickled Eggs - #Eggs #pickled with #beets , #onions , & #spices at Mongoose vs Cobra
This bar has one of the best selection of beers in Houston, however, some of the staff is completely unprofessional, irresponsible and careless.
Although they have the Greensheets parking lot you can use, they rather you not drive. 13% discount if you ride a bike and they validate rail tickets.
It's kind of hard to read the beer board if you sit in the back. Be sure to sit closer to the front.
A great choice when you're in Midtown but down want the midtown mob scene.
The hard boiled eggs (pickled in beets ) are the best, $3.00!!! They come with actual beets + ginger = awesomeness!!
Seems like a good beer bar . Gets jammed up due to the layout. Lots of taps that could rotate.
Great beer list , presentation, and interior design . Need I say more?
No forks here! Get your fingertips stained with red pickled eggs and cheese under your nails . It's worth it.
Gin & Tonic is incredibly unique! I love it
I cannot get over their pretzel ! Omg "Midnight Special just heavenly!
The beer and pretzels !
This is a good spot on a Sunday afternoon, without the hipster crowds .
Happy Hour 4-7 Thursdays $5 build your own mule
Try a sour ale ! The Jacobins Rouge will make you pucker up. So good.
Try the negroni spagliato. Almost as delicious as it is fun to say!
Every drink is awesome here!

The Amaretto Sour is amazing!
Unique beers on tap . Try #30 & 37
Was not impressed. On a Tuesday night, no table service? Took 20 minutes to get a drink. There were only 5 out 42 drafts that you couldnt by at a local retailer/grocery store. This is a pass.
