When the main road will finish, you can walk down and find many musical stores , as well as some handmade stuff boutiques . Hipster 's heaven. Do not forget to buy ukulele :)

Its a fabulous place to really blend in with the turkish people. Seafood is what you must eat here. So fresh! Fried sardines, fried mussels , clams . Excellent prices !

If you are going to the old town , fastest way is to take the tunnel to Kabatas and then the tram , get off at Eminönü and walk through the spice baazar. Just keep walking, lot's of shopping and food

If you're planing to visit Istanbul, you have two areas to stay at, Taksim or Ortakoy. It depends on what you like. Both are beautiful.

This is one of my fav areas in IST! Special atmosphere, special mood and special air here! Always crowdy and so friendly and excited!

As I had said I loved the place shopping is perfect and food as well shop close by 11:00 pm so it better than other place which close by 7 pm

One of the biggest and most central squares of Istanbul. Always very crowded . Here there are lots of stores, bars , cafes and restaurants . The famous tram line is here, too. And tourists of course ????

Nice place to meet people, and there's a lot of transport including the famous funicular railway and havatas bus to the Ataturk airport .

This area is considered the hive of activity for Istanbul. Everything is here from shops, restaurants , old churches , nightlife. For second time visitors to Istanbul, it is a good location for hotels

Profile of visitors has changed cheap shops are everywhere, not sophisticated at all, unless i have to! otherwise i will not visit Taksim Square . Pera, Galata and Cihangir still pleasant thought.

Didn't enjoy because there is nothing at Taksim square , only the metro station that was helpful and the isteqlal street is very nice for shopping
