Parra park is a beautiful park for walking and cycling . I love the Old Parliament House and the history. Check out the Ghost tour !
Walking through here is the cheapest and most eye pleasing way to get from Westmead to Parramatta and you don't need to wait for the train .

The gate at queen St entry. They open mon. - fri 10am to 3pm, sat and sun 6am to 6pm and on public holiday they open at 6am to 8pm

Avoid using the path that runs from Amos Street to Pitt Street along the golf course at night.
