Relatively small but the exhibits are great and the gardens are lovely. Definitely check out their monthly after hours event , Art After Dark , which happens every last Friday of the month.
Walking through three hours to see ancient historic arts of pacific area and a lot of more including modern arts . There are cafeteria and gardens , opened space . Easy to access from Waikiki by TheBus.
Really nice art museum especially if you're interested in art form different Asian countries . They have a decent collection of Western art . Very nice gift shop ! I like the local artists exhibitions .
Four paintings by O'Keefe, a Gauguin, a van Gogh, some amazing contemporary art , as well as collections of African, Mayan, Polynesian art like I haven't seen before
Amazing place. Loved the Body of Work exhibit and was moved to tears by the Hawaii islands history as told through art . The asian exhibits , especially moving by cultures represented so beautifully

Very neat - you can plan to spend about 2 hours there. They have a good size Asian collection especially China and Japan
Art After Dark last Friday of every month until October then break. $10.00 admission for nonmembers, good music , pricey appetizers , culture and small kine games.
Nice mix of contemporary , bhudism, Hawaiian and a great building. Hawaiian was my favorite.

If you havent been to ARTafterDARK yet, you should check it out!! It's the last Friday of the month, January through October. Great place for friends, food, and of course art !

Definitely eat at the Pavilion Cafe . Surprisingly excellent food and a great outside seating area .
