Very nice breakfast with amazing view . Big swimming pool and private beach . Rooms are not brand new like Sheraton in Barra da Tijuca but the beds are comfortable and it’s very clean .
Friendly staff , great breakfast , and casual dinner . Lots of business guests, so pool and private beach are quite uncluttered which is nice.
Hotel is great as usual. Note they are renewing all pool area including the restaurants till march 2016, one at the time. Still worth it.

Super lovely staff and a nice slightly quieter beach to lie on although it's public so you get a little bit of the local flair. Food is good but as always in hotels , overpriced.

Only private beach in rio, v close to leblon. Great views and safe. Club lounge on 4th floor outstanding - late breakfast till 11am, afternoon tea and evening cocktails 5-7pm inc caipirinhas
The best hotel in Rio . Excelent views , with an empty beach next to it. A little old (ugly 70s building) but in the process of beig refurbished .
All restaurants with a view . Kids play room has plenty to do. Can hire English speaking nanny for about $20 per hour
There's a mini fridge in rooms, they charge for internet/breakfast. Don't walk out of the premises at night, people have gotten mugged several times. The beach is by far it's best feature.
Peeling wallpaper and discolored rugs are overshadowed by the gorgeous views ; the "private beach " is a bit of a scam - there is a staircase to the favelas and the locals use the beach aggressively
After the disaster of 2019, the refurbishment fit well . The scooters from Lime have also facilitated the access to its location.
Ask for a blue towel near the fitness center , pick your spot by the pool, and order an "agua de coco " (fresh coconut ). Relax, you're in Rio!
Nice hotel by a bit far from leblond/ipanema, 15 minutes walk, free shuttle from the hotel or just take a taxi to go wherever you wanna go !
The breakfast is worth the price! It was the largest breakfast buffet I've ever seen & the food quality was amazing.

Lovely view over Leblon/Ipanema. You can’t actually see the sunset from here but you can see the sky glow. Much quieter place to relax and enjoy than Arpoador - K B
