Whitner's Barbecue

Love the burnt ends small plate with green beans and Mac and Cheese . My son and mom got ribs . Found this place last year and couldn't leave VA Beach without stopping in. Reasonable prices too!

Open Faced Brisket Sandwich with coleslaw , mashed potatos and corn bread are all so delicious! Fills you right up!

The Jamaican bbqnothing to write home about. I am Jamaican..not even have a hint of Jamaican Jerk . The dirty rice was hard. The black eyed corn was on point and so was the mash potatoes .WONT BE BACK.

Guy from the Food Network show "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives" was here. I think that is proof enough that this place is awesome.

It just doesn't taste much better than a mad dog with collards and cornbread ......just yummy.

Could make a meal of the collard greens alone! Not to mention some of the best BBQ I have ever had!

Not impressed....the collard greens had no flavor. The baked beans lacked flavor and tasted canned. The corn bread was ok and the slaw was ok...the best thing about this place is the price.
