Good location that is close to everything downtown. Try for one of the north facing rooms on the higher floors with a little bit of a balcony - great for sitting out late at night.
Ask for a high room, train tracks out front can be disturbing. Awesome technology in shower curtains, no fewer than five US patents on that bad boy. That is one heck of a shower curtain.
Very nice hotel . Excellent location! Nice friendly staff ; they looked after us when they found out we just got engaged. Wine and chocolate covered strawberries left in our room for when we returned.
Love this hotel ! Great location and with the trolley station right there. Ask for a room with a view to the dog park and Main Entrance of the hotel , they are quieter .
Great location! Walking distance to Petco Park , the convention center and lots of bars and restaurants . Very comfortable beds and linens.
Love it here ! Wish I could have stayed longer - great area and pool has great view - smaller than Hilton across the street but the better choice !!
The hotel is decent, nothing special, but the real stars here are the amazing beds. Probably the most heavenly place to sleep after walking the floor at the convention center .
Great location. Refurbished large rooms. Good beds and enough storage for clothes and toiletries. Rooms opposite convention center are quieter : no trains .
park on a meter on the same street - just opposite the Hotel . Night is free, from 8am you should pay, but it is 2-3 dollars instead of 40 in-holel parking . Coins are always available on reception ;)
Stayed for SDCC, perfect location to everything, there is a handicap room with one queen bed tho!
Best Hilton property in the area, but on the small side so getting a room is difficult.
This is where it's all going down. Great hotel in the Gaslamp Quarter and the home of the 2011 Swag Nation Celebration at BlogHer! Hope to see you there.
Nice property. Clean and convenient to conference center and gaslamp
It was generally a really good experience, but what's up with the door closer on the bathroom door? Really annoying. But the bed was awesome.
Great location in downtown and the Gaslamp District.
Great location, close to everything. Parking is a joke... $40\night. Park two blocks down for $15-20\night.
Moved to one of the rooms in the Loft building - modern decoration and fab bed
Great location and nice rooms.
Try getting one of the loft rooms. Very chill , very retro , nice!
They will charge WiFi per device!! Make sure to point this out at checkout so you are only charged once per day. Sneaky!
If you have kids make sure you check with the front desk about their scavenger hunts. Great fun! Kids get icecream !
Quiet , relaxing & in the middle of the ballpark, convention center & gas lamp!
Get one of the lofts if you can.
Perfect location to all bars/restaurants! Will return..
Nice location. Nice hotel . OvErPrICeD.
Great free apps from 5-7 pm, M-F, including egg rolls , chips & salsa and taquitos .
Great location, beautiful and clean hotel , okay food but with so many great restaurants so close you should explore and eat out.
Great location. Skip the breakfast buffet , maybe have the made to order omelette . Weird sulphur smell in bathroom .
Train runs directly behind hotel . Impossible to sleep with train horns blaring all night long. A/C sucks, rooms don't get cool at all. Staff is great though. Great location Would not stay again.
one of my favorite hotel in the gaslamp quarter!!
Spacious room . Next to loud train line .
No wireless available in guest rooms. A bit loud at times if you are on the back of the hotel . Concierge was not helpful. People at desk were great. Location great, but would not stay here again.
Elaine at the front desk after midnight is Awesome!!!
Great people work here. Very friendly and helpful
Besides the beeping smoke detectors, rude waiter at the restaurant , and lack of hot water in the shower , this place is awesome.
Parking is $40 a day! Save half by parking in structure on 6th.
Considering the high rates, I was very surprised to find how outdated the rooms were. They said they were scheduled to be "brand standard" starting in Nov 2014
Farewell breakfast :) Yummy!
Two negatives: wifi is spotty and the restaurant is not good! Otherwise a positive experience.
The lofts are really nice!
Great location and affordable rates. The gym is worst gym I've seen since 1990s. Go to 24Hr Fitness and pay $10!!!
Conveniant hotel , very good location for the Historic Gaslamp Quarter and the Convention Center . Only (expensive ) valet parking available.
Breakfast time before hitting back home
$47 parking/valet per day.....
Get dropped off, $40 parking is the downside!!!!
$42 per night parking ....
Make sure to follow them on Twitter @HiltonGaslamp
nice hotel but be careful of barking dogs... ;)
$40 valet parking/day!
The night manager told us to "Fuck Off" as we checked in tonight.

Nice views, comfortable bed, quiet room, good fitness center and pool. Convenient to walk to the marina or Gaslamp. Can't go wrong. - Jason H.
