This place is beautiful! Reserve a table in advance because they book quickly! We enjoyed lunch on the pond overseeing the bridge and scenery. Food and service were outstanding!

This place is foodie heaven - everything on the menu is divine but definitely make sure you're order indexes high on seafood . Fun fact: Kevin, the winner of Top Chef DC, used to work here!

Everything here is good. Great for a special occasion or business dinner . Check out the rat sculpture in the men's room.

Hostess was worst. Very irritated welcoming for this amazing place. 3/31/2016 other than that service and foods are good. You should see the garden don't miss it

Walk directly to Kabul (bar in the back), grab a beverage, then head to the Grounds - spectacular 35-acre outdoor sculpture park ! (Admissions fee - well worth it!)

The food was not nearly as good as last year. I went for my birthday last year and the food was great. Now it tastes good enough to be worth half the price. The service has also gone downhill.

Onion soup - best!!!

Had a terrible experience here. Bartenders couldn’t even make a proper old fashioned, server couldn’t answer any wine questions. Foie gras and escargot were terrible. Service was nearly non existent.

Beautiful location, lovely staff and wonderful food.

Daytime and evening walks through the grounds are entirely different experiences. Come to Rat 's for lunch and dinner to experience both ambiances!

Try Viva La France! For those who enjoys good coffee with "sparks".

I highly recommend the lobster crepe appetizer !

Mushroom bisque amazing! Hamburger rolls freezer burned burger tasteless. Clay pot chicken slightly under cookedfar too oily. Fries arrived cold and tasting if old oil. Sadly not what it used to be.

Just to be clear they don't actually serve actual rats here. There are no actual rats on the menu. Just to be clear some people aren't good enough to actually eat with me. Here or anywhere else.

Kielbasa and Eggs is a great option during Sunday brunch .
