I was particularly impressed with the fairy trail . It was very unique. I enjoyed this garden and plan to come back. Lots of photography spots.
Only $1 for kids and $2 for adults, easy parking and beautiful scenery throughout, it's fun for kids to run around and look at the dinosaurs and koi fish or just a peaceful walk for the adults
Love the trails and flowers , beautiful place with a skyline of the city in some spots.
Make sure to drop by during the herb festival , beautiful scenery and bbq ! Can't go wrong, you can even take home some fresh herbs for your garden .
The many trails of flowers make for an excellent stroll. There is also a Faerie Trail , which was my favorite!
Must do for visitors to spend an afternoon amongst the trees and roses . Nice easy walk. A small gift shop too.
Wandered around the gardens before our flight left in the afternoon. Very impressed by the extensive water decorations. Wished I'd had better shoes on to wander the paths around the water.
So you've had your laughs, time to have some peace . Looking for a quiet place away with beautiful scenery ? Zilker's has different themes and exhibits . Perfect.
Beautiful place! Even teaches you how to have a compost next to the vegetable garden
Love love love the Japanese gardens there. Beautiful place for a walk with family or a date.
Nice to walk and relax with family and friends. Do miss the Japanese Garden

Go to the herb garden for some ideas on what to grow in your kitchen window!
Try to visit during the annual Zilker Garden Festival featuring food, music and things for the kids, as well as a flower show!
Go in the fall! Even the roses were sweating in July.
Mellow out at this beautiful relaxing garden and enjoy the lush greenery that surrounds you.
Pretty .. they really expanded since the last time I was here.♡
This garden is so picturesque, you’ll want to prevent shadows for close-up images, so avoid mid-day & sunlight shots. Try shooting at sunrise or sunset instead.
Nature tho
The rose garden & japanese garden are the best!
Great place for photo shoots but check website for rules.
So peaceful first thing in the morning
They started charging for admission in Oct 2011, so be sure to plan for that. $2 for adults and $1 for kids.
Check out the Japanese and prehistoric gardens if you're looking for more interesting plants to... look at.
Dinosaur tracks were found here years ago, which is why the garden has a cool dino statue !
The best time to go is mid-morning. Not too hot, and not too crowded .
A beautiful lush botanical garden . What's not to love?
Under the bridge lives a Kappa. Maybe it's a troll. That doesn't matter. What matters is don't go under the bridge .
Don't wear black. Especially on a hot Texas Day!
Definitely more of a spring time place. That probably should have been obvious.
Definitely walk around the whole park . It's so peaceful !
love it , the gardens and environment .
Friken beautiful awesum lots of great pics cuz
Not that good during late March, plants not very lively .
Kind of disappointing.
not very accessible for the handicapped
good cheap way to spend a spring afternoon in Austin.
Need cash to enter. No ATM .
type more then 10 characters
Very unfair. If you're not an Austin resident they charge an extra dollar on top of it. Seriously guys, this is not fair to people from other parts of the state .
