Thye Hong Hokkien Mee (Food Opera) is a noodle restaurant Orchard Road Singapore located in Singapore.
Food Opera, ION Mall (435 Orchard Rd.) 238801 Singapore
Their basic $6.50 plate comes with 3 small prawns (soup spoon for reference). Stall typically recommends tourists the 'king'-sized prawns $12/$17/$20, but the noodle & prawn stock is the same
Fried Hokkien Mee was a generous serving . It was really an enjoyable dish. absolutely a must try!
Very wet style, with lots of prawn flavours
CKT is decent but not wet enough for my liking. Plate also lacks 'wok hei' – the elusive smokiness. Big serving for one Asian person though☺️
Shifted to Food Opera, ION mall . The Hokkien Fried Prawn Noodles at Food Republic Wisma Atria is no longer Thye Hong
Must eat dish when in Singapore!
The best hokkien mee in the orchard area!
Big portion ,great taste! Very recomended...
Still think the prawn Mee is one of the best around!
The prawns are a little bland but the flavor is so good, it's worth a try even with the always long lines .
Never dissapointed

One of the best fishball noodles I've ever had and generous servings. Well worth asking for more. - Terence Chua
Ribs with soup and fish soup were both tasty but beware, had to hit the Imodium afterwards. - Garry Tan
Noodle is springy, Char Siew is tasty, Wanton is yummy and Chili is spicy (yes, it’s spicy). Overall it is delicious ???? photo is $4 - Sawit K.
Authentic, tasty and cheap! Get the noodles dry (as opposed to a soup) - you get a pork soup on the side anyway. - Campbell
Easily some of the best fishball mee pok I've had on the island. The noodles cooked to perfection. The flavour in the soup. Springy tasty fish balls! There is a reason they are famous! - Adrienne M
