Lovely experience last night at Portland. Portions were the right size to enjoy 3 courses and some very tasty ones! Great wine list as well . The special last night was Mallard duck . Amazing !
One of the best restaurants in London! Food is highly delicious, wine list is great and service is very courteous. Just look at this beauty! I am in love!
Incredible dishes served in fascinating ways. A very special place in a city that is often very samey. The Greengage old fashioned is a great start.
Order the fallow deer. The meat is so buttery it melts in your mouth. And maybe also have a few croquettes whilst you wait for your main. You won't regret it.
Best meal we had in London on a recent trip. Terrific cocktails and inventive, delicious food. Save room for dessert (like sunchoke ice cream !!)
Every dish was delicious and beautiful, but this place is not worth the price tag. Portions were minuscule. Even though all 3 of us ordered the pricey tasting menu , the tiny dishes came for sharing.
The casual ambiance masks a cuisine that is technical, complex and absolutely delicious. A gem.
Great flavored food in a reasonable price. Great atmosphere as well . Must try
Pretty good modern European although portion is rather small. Very good service too
great menu, exquisite food, brilliant wine . as giles coren says... it's perfect.
One of the most perfect meals I've had recently. I found the service impeccable and the I didn't think it was particularly expensive for the quality.
Fabulous food & wine at a decent price. I recommend he venison and calcots in particular. Gorgeous!
Have the hand-dived scallops with Jerusalem artichoke purée! #TDF Booking essential. Exceedingly well priced for quality
everything is delicious. the pies and the scallops are especially great👌
Amazing in every way was fabulous
Half hearted service & over priced. £23 for chicken breast (admittedly tasty). £5 for a couple of Shitake .
Very refined food. Great wine list . Not particularly warm service
Amazing tasting menu . Never disappoints
Tasting menu and let the staff choose the wine
Simple high quality dishes really allow the ingrediants to standout.
Has an amazing private room downstairs.
I'd definitely go back for the dessert .
Turbot in white wine sauce special
Scallops were amazing!
Nice enough but over hyped and far too expensive . Try for lunch maybe. For this money you could eat better elsewhere.
We did more surfing than turfing, which was faultless (especially the brill special), but the pig 's heads croquettes were great too. Excellent wine list . Book well in advance for weekends.
Overpriced and tiny portions. Felt like New York City in 2009. Major no.
One Michelin star .
Super restaurant. Worth coming back on a Tuesday for a nice tartare bargain, too. - Polly Wnz
Great seasonal British food. 3 plates is more than enough for one person. - Vikash
This is a Samuel Smith's pub - cheap, good. Do not expect any brands of beer, cider, spirits or wine other than from their brewery. - Alan Ogilvie
