Mai Khao Beach

Perfect place if you want to run out from crowded beaches around island . It's very long with great sand and you will have planes just under your head because airport starts just near this beach .

Very clean and peaceful . Quiet with few people. Some local stalls selling f&b, beachwear and large coconuts at 40baht only. CHILL worthy beach close 2 airport .

This beach is a place where you could relax and have adventures at the same time. A must-see is the Sirinat National Park . Come on Feb-Jan and get a chance to see the Giant Ridley Sea Turtle .

You can park and get a tuk tuk or walk 20 minutes down to the spot just outside the runway to watch the planes come in. Little market there to buy smoothies etc.

A must try: bike riding through Mai Khao long, peaceful stretch completely pristine, unspoilt beach which is part of a national park zone

Definitely worth visiting. Note! During the low season the airplanes just take off, but do not land. So they are not so close to the land.

Самолетики крутые. Но! Сам пляж заслуживает отдельного слова! Пустой, чистый (не считая зоны, где Селфи-маги ждут хорошего кадра), сразу глубоко, но вода чудная! Сильное обратное течение. Осторожно!

Геометка правильная, но пляж огромный, самолёты будут левее (южнее) у забора с колючей проволокой. Встав на носочки или подойдя к забору ближе можно заранее увидеть готовящийся ко взлёту самолёт.

чистый пляж ,мелкий желтый песок, море в январе спокойное, безлюдно Гуляй, наслаждайся звуками прибоя и отсутствием горланящих детей и взрослых. Люди встречаются небольшими кучками около редких отелей .

Мощное прибойное течение. Будте внимательны, особенно с детьми. Очень часто много медуз . У Марриотта пляж чистый , в остальных местах не очень

Очень хороший, тихий , почти безлюдный пляж . Очень сильно отличается от пляжей , которые ближе к Патонгу, там как в Сочи, плюнуть некуда, а здесь 10 человек на 8 км пляжа !

Чистая вода , через пару метров глубоко, пусто. Отличное место для отдыха

Тут очень красиво! Бегают малюсенькие краники, плавают рыбки , можно набрать себе ракушек. Прозрачная голубая вода и чистый песок. Людей минимум.

Аквапарк , красиво приземляются самолеты и взлетают. Хороший берег . Вода морская чистая. Сразу глубоко. На берегу мало людей.

Шикарный 11 километровый пляж !Нет туристов , можно посмотреть на самолеты и черепах )

Когда наступает темнота, можно заметить светящийся планктон , если провести по песку у воды и в воде рукой.

Можно сделать отличные фотографии !

Песок идеален,на отливе нет грязи,комфортно даже при волне метр и красном флаге.
