The fried chicken is pretty good, didn't find it spicy as some have mentioned. Seems really fresh and not greasy at all. Fries were the best I've had in a while. Staff are awesome and really friendly .

Bryan Gonzalez

Everything was amazing. The chicken was so good. The flavor and spices of the chicken was great. Awesome Mac and cheese . The coleslaw was great too. Had the fried green tomatoes as well . Great food!

Fernando Covas

This is what fried chicken is supposed to be: freshly fried, tender and juicy on the inside, and perfectly crisp on the outside! If you can't make it to the original one in Memphis, come here.

Austin Chronicle

The famous Memphis chain comes to Downtown and brings some of the best fried green tomatoes and chicken in town with it. Read more

The 4 piece chicken tender plate is enough for 2 people. 4 giant tasty chicken tenders for just $8. Give yourself 15-20 minutes as all fried chicken is made to order.

Kelly Dennis

The breading is pretty spicy . My husband loves it. Personally it is too spicy for me to enjoy. But i am not above cooling down with some mac n cheese . It's delicious!

Sam D

Delicious hot and crispy chicken . The sides were great too and if you still want dessert , the chocolate chess pie with a scoop of ice cream will do the trick.

Brett Elliott

Some of the best fried chicken I’ve ever had and I’ve eaten a LOT of fried chicken in my life!

Steve Basile

The AMAZING chicken outshines the mediocre sides. No matter, I can get beans & slaw anywhere. This. Is. Chicken ! (and beer .) Get the 3-piece dark & wish there were 6 pieces. Best in town by far.

Maggie C Perkins

Fun family fare-- chicken not exactly hot&spicy as advertised, but likely just spicy enough for the masses. Sides were hit & miss; slaw and collards being standouts, and oh, that chocolate chess pie !

David

Wow! Awesome food. Felt a little pricey for fried chicken but we did get a lot of other stuff. Great fried pickles and green tomatoes . And of course the chicken .

Carl Tydingco

Good fried chicken at a nice price ????

S Wadud

Best fried chicken in Austin definitely get the fries and add ranch dipping sauce . You will be in heaven!

Isaac B. Sanchez

The fried chicken is delicious. Has a kick *spicy* to it. Potato salad is tasty, not to mention their coconut pie . I shall be back there.

Caio Bamberg

That's fried chicken to the bone. But you may ask for tender, which is boneless and easier to enjoy the flavors.

Ericu Desu

It's spicy . One of the best fried chicken I've had, and I'm from the South so that is saying something.

Lauren Mac

Fried chicken legs here are on point ????????. Have a slight kick to them, but as do many foods in Austin. Casual family style , no pretentiousness and food's ready FAST.

Wael Hazzazi

Try the fried okra and fried green tomatoes , so good

Joshua Winata

Sooo good! The chicken is obviously the star of the show, but as far as sides go, the mac and cheese and coleslaw were also winners.

Susan Zoch

The chicken was moist and the skin was flavorful but was not a crunchy as I like it. The breaded has a slight heat but will not blow you head off the cole slaw is a sweet cream slaw ahich was good.

Michael Irwin

Get the chicken tenders - dip them in the honey mustard - and do it before the rest of Austin finds out about this spot.

Garrett Mack

Get in early for hot fresh chicken . And the pies are made in house they have sweet potato , chess pie , pecan pie . With ice cream

Mario Giacalone

. It was good maybe even great but i wasn’t overwhelmed! Great flavor but not very crispy . Great service pretty good sides also tried the chess pie that I was disappointed with as I grew up eating it

Alyssa Hirsch

Of course their chicken is great, but their chess pies are amazing! Their chocolate chess pie is my favorite.

aro

Some of the pieces end up spicier than others, but they're fried to order, crispy and juicy. Get seasoned fries as your side.

Sara C Hill

Anything you order you will love. It’s crazy busy in there so expect some delays but the food is fantastic.

Abhishek Shahapurkar

Crispy , juicy, tender, spicy fried chicken is one of the best I've had! Fried okra is amazing!

David Byers

It's all good! Try the fried pickles and side of greens!

Park Silk

You can't go wrong with the three piece dark meat meal. The chicken is delicious, and just a little spicy .

Amanda Simpson

Amazing fried chicken ???? ! Also if you have room for dessert check out the chess pie .

Angelique Pool

I enjoyed the food. Chicken was spicy but good. Sides I think will be a personal preference. Thought the slaw was good and the beans were just ok for me.

Rober Taylor

Located walking distance from the austin convention center . Great fried chicken and quick friendly service .

Annisa Arishti

The best fried chicken I've ever had. Cool shirts to boot. High five Gus?

Cookie Streetfighters

Homie spot 1/2 block from convention center ...they definitely do chicken here.

Matt Shash

Mac & cheese are great, so is the spicy crispy chicken

Ashley Powell

Fried green tomatoes are awesome. Highly recommend

Fabian Landin

If this place has Big Red it would be the ultimate fried chicken place... seriously! None the less the chicken is the best!

Jennifer Ruiz

Quite possibly the best chicken in Austin - perfect amount of spice to give it a kick!

Susie Sebastian

Chicken here is awesome! Only complaint - wish they would get homemade ranch dressing instead of that packaged stuff!

BaltimoreGal

Chicken . Sweet tea . OMG those fried green tomatoes though!!!

Les W

Try the Fried Green Tomatos - (via @Foodspotting)

G Shiau

Bases on a small sample I think the serving size on the sides are bigger after the main lunch rush (after 1pm).

Laney B

3 piece dark with slaw and mac & cheese . Tastes delicious!

Karolina ????

Cheap and good. Went there on Thursday night and there was no line to be seated.

Vicky Chapa

Chicken was crispy and not greasy. I recommended the baked beans . They were my favorite.

Kyle Bunch

Memphis's legendary fried chicken joint lands in Austin. Prepare your arteries for a category-4 clog.

Jason Carrasco

Spicy ! Stick around do have amazing chess pie for dessert .

Jacob Sloan

Pair your chicken with a fine craft beer (if you are 21+, of course)!

Guillaume Lauriault
