The fried chicken is pretty good, didn't find it spicy as some have mentioned. Seems really fresh and not greasy at all. Fries were the best I've had in a while. Staff are awesome and really friendly .

Everything was amazing. The chicken was so good. The flavor and spices of the chicken was great. Awesome Mac and cheese . The coleslaw was great too. Had the fried green tomatoes as well . Great food!

The breading is pretty spicy . My husband loves it. Personally it is too spicy for me to enjoy. But i am not above cooling down with some mac n cheese . It's delicious!

Delicious hot and crispy chicken . The sides were great too and if you still want dessert , the chocolate chess pie with a scoop of ice cream will do the trick.

The AMAZING chicken outshines the mediocre sides. No matter, I can get beans & slaw anywhere. This. Is. Chicken ! (and beer .) Get the 3-piece dark & wish there were 6 pieces. Best in town by far.

Fun family fare-- chicken not exactly hot&spicy as advertised, but likely just spicy enough for the masses. Sides were hit & miss; slaw and collards being standouts, and oh, that chocolate chess pie !

Wow! Awesome food. Felt a little pricey for fried chicken but we did get a lot of other stuff. Great fried pickles and green tomatoes . And of course the chicken .

The fried chicken is delicious. Has a kick *spicy* to it. Potato salad is tasty, not to mention their coconut pie . I shall be back there.

That's fried chicken to the bone. But you may ask for tender, which is boneless and easier to enjoy the flavors.

Sooo good! The chicken is obviously the star of the show, but as far as sides go, the mac and cheese and coleslaw were also winners.

The chicken was moist and the skin was flavorful but was not a crunchy as I like it. The breaded has a slight heat but will not blow you head off the cole slaw is a sweet cream slaw ahich was good.

Get the chicken tenders - dip them in the honey mustard - and do it before the rest of Austin finds out about this spot.

Get in early for hot fresh chicken . And the pies are made in house they have sweet potato , chess pie , pecan pie . With ice cream

Of course their chicken is great, but their chess pies are amazing! Their chocolate chess pie is my favorite.

Some of the pieces end up spicier than others, but they're fried to order, crispy and juicy. Get seasoned fries as your side.

Anything you order you will love. It’s crazy busy in there so expect some delays but the food is fantastic.

I enjoyed the food. Chicken was spicy but good. Sides I think will be a personal preference. Thought the slaw was good and the beans were just ok for me.
