Trader Joe's: a neighborhood grocery store with amazing food and drink from around the globe and around the corner. Great quality at great prices - that's what we call value.

LOVE the 6th avenue location. Roomier than 14th st. My go-to for party shopping. I always get the burrata cheese , the cold cuts , the dark chocolate ginger and the orange chocolate strips.
Way better laid out than the gramercy location, quick and friendly staff and unique items . Also, if you're looking to make a quick easy dinner they sell the absolute best store bought pizza dough
The line may seem intimidating at first, but it moves quickly. Much better option than Whole Foods a couple blocks away. Produce moves quickly, so you know nothing sits on the shelves too long
Great variety of healthy meal options and snacks . If you're looking to eat well , you can pick up some key foods here to add to your grocery list and in expensively . Only downfall are the LONG lines .
Definitely beats the Union Square location, mainly because it's always less crowded , although lines still can be lengthy.
Even though the line looks long, it zips through in ten min!
Avocados were cheaper here than my usual grocer in the UES. I usually pick up 'healthy' snacks when I get a chance to shop here -- too far for weekly trips. Tried their Challah buns , I've had better.
The best TJ in the city . All one floor. Good coffee & munchies like pizzas on offer always. Find the fresh produce here better than other TJ's, also wider variety.
If there's enough space, best believe that I'm gonna push off and ride my shopping cart down an aisle. I've done it before and I'll do it again.
Best to go at off times as it gets crowded (e.g. in the mornings on the weekends). The Greek yogurt spinach dip , green goddess seasoning, and salmon are fan favorites in this household
Pro tip: for workday lunchtime shopping, use the buddy system. 1 person immediately gets in the line that's wrapped around entire store, other does shopping. Queueing person may want to bring a book ..
Best TJ's in the city . Wide aisles, a layout that makes sense, plus they have the small two-level shopping carts that are inexplicably absent from the (much smaller) UWS location!
such a good check out experience, the check out people are the nicest, i wish it was closer to my home i'd go all the time even w/long lines
This place is always swarming with people. Go with a friend so one of you can shop while the other waits in line .
Go to the frozen foods section and take a look at the fish selection . Mahi Mahi , Ahi Tuna and Swordfish vacuum packed at really low prices. This is a great place for basics like eggs and milk .
The date and peanut bar and the peanut butter granola bar are two things I can’t live without, highly recommended.
A must try: the chili cheese tamales are absolutely delicious. Pair it with their lime and habanero salsa and some sliced avocado - all from Trader Joes!
Best Trader Joe's in Manhattan, hands down! Easiest to navigate and line didn't conflict too badly with shopping areas unless it's lunch time or a Monday!!
Trade Joe's is my favorite supermarket
Pumpkin is back! They have pumpkin Greek yogurt , ice cream , soup , butter, cheesecake , cream cheese , muffin mix, ravioli , and more.
Love this location even more than Union Square - much more spacious and friendly !
There's a big section of fruits and vegetables near the front. If you run into the store at full speed, you might miss it. Don't! There's some good food here.
Best supermarket in New York, great fresh food choices and relatively cheap !
Cut you some flax. Try adding flaxseed or its oil to your meals. Trader's has it golden roasted, milled , whole, in cereal, in oatmeal . The health benefits are plentiful and the taste is yummy.
One of the less crowded locations in the city . Easy to navigate and you don’t have to shop on line .
If it's your first time here, be prepared to spend some time getting familiar with the products they have. You won't recognize any brands here.
It's almost Easter which means TJ's gourmet jelly beans are back in stock! With flavors like pomegranate , pink grapefruit and blackberry Stock up before they are gone!
Come with a friend so you can take turns standing in line (especially on the weekend)
Always staffs are friendly ! I love it!
Love love love this place!!! Try the pies ! Hummus ! Grilled chicken !! My mom loves the fish fillet ! I love the chicken pesto genovese ! Oh i love every single item in this place. :)
TJs is a great place to find seasonal produce . Pick up a bag or two of blood oranges (while you still can) for this Blood Orange Olive Oil Cake . So flavorful! Get the recipe on kitchenkonfidence.com.
Line may look long sometime but it moves very quickly.
One of the few grocery stores in Manhattan that won't set you back a fortune.
Great pumpkin stuff season: cupcakes , cookies , coffee , pies and drinks...... All . Happy Halloween
Surprised by how short the line looks from outside? Think again, they do a superb job of hiding a line that snakes around the back of the store!
Consistently less crowded than the TJ's at Union Square but the best time to go is between 8 and 8:30 am
WOW! All the staff and cashiers are super friendly and have a sunny disposition. Makes me want to visit here more often!
The cheapest place to get organic yogurt in the city , so I try stocking up on other affordable organic foods while there.
I like this trader joes so much better than the one in union square! Much more room to move around
Make sure to grab a few extra produce bags before getting in line so you have something to strangle yourself with while you wait.
Pick up some Old Amsterdam Gouda ! Check out our website to read up on some great recipes and pairings for our premium aged Gouda ! http://oldamsterdam.com/
Love the brown rice medley, all natural BBQ sauce , red lentils , friendly staff & layout of store.
I live in Oneil’s building 5Th floor in front Traders Joes loading zone , noise every day from 5am in the morning is unbearable .
This is a much larger store than 14th Street and the one on 73rd at Brdwy. Long lines , but that's nothing new. Great store and friendly-as-f*ck service.
Shop with a friend during the busy hours, one of you can wait on the super line to the cashier while the other shops.
Looking for garnishes for your next Bloody Mary ? Check out TJs selection of olives & pickled items. Totally legit. Also swing by produce for celery . Find a Bacon Bloody how-to on kitchenkonfidence.com
Great place to stock up on gluten-free essentials. Ask customer service for their list of gluten-free products. Also, look for the "g" on the label indicating no gluten ingredients. Read more
If you're going to go on a Monday night, make sure you get your shopping done by 7pm. If not, prepare to stand in line just to get in the door.
Fresh flowers right at the entrance. Very large and organized .
Dear Trader Joe's Chelsea, I am sick and tired of your obnoxious lines at every hour of the day. I will be taking my business to Whole Foods on 7th and 25th (right around corner).
Beautiful salad bar, wide array of beer, tasty ready-made food, chocolate milk in glass bottles, MYO peanut/almond butter,, delicious pastries, I really could go on :-) - Nefertiti
Trader Joes has some serious competition here! Huge supermarket with in every category 10 options to choose from. I love shopping here. Esp. when it comes to buying fresh fish and meat. Grear service! - Alexandra Maesen
good prices. gorgeous produce. frozen dumplings. massive variety of short & medium-grain brown & white rice. meats! butchered beautifully. even sliced short-ribs (against bone). spices. everything. - Danyel Smith
Beautiful park, plenty of seating, really nice in the evenings. Shake shack always has a line, but it's worth the wait - Justin McKissick
Awesome, organized, friendly store with top-notch staff and great service! Less crowded during the week. This is THE Container Store - others pale by comparison. . - WorldTraveler NYC
