Cleveland Public Auditorium & Conference Center

The lobby is pretty cool in its restored beauty. The rest is a bit institutional looking. Concessions were sparse (it is a public hall). Was looking good for the Rock Hall induction.

The first party presidential nominating convention to be broadcast on radio occurred June 10–12, 1924 as Republicans met at the Public Auditorium in Cleveland, nominating Calvin Coolidge.

Great place! Interesting stage with 2 sides if audience.

Huge event space with an old world flair.

The balcony levels are reachable by stairs or relatively steep ramps. There are NO public elevators . If you have hip or knee problems, you will be very unhappy.
