Shifen Old Street

Popularized for the floating lanterns and the trail leading to the Waterfalls . Flight of the wish lantern costs around NTD100-NTD200. Try the authentic dumplings , stuffed chicken , and street foods .

Loads of stalls selling Taiwanese snacks . From sausages on a stick to cookies , cakes and noodles . Best thing we ate was the stuffed chicken wings . Gets quite busy with tourists .

Lovely colorful street. Get some sausage with garlic , light a lantern on the train tracks , and make a wish!

Get a customize mini lantern from the one and only shop that allow customization located near the station . It's the only shop in Taiwan. Very unique

Very romantic with sky lantern . So beautiful when some of them fly together. Must visit place if you go to Pingxi

Too many tourists . Only go if you want to release lanterns in the sky, and good for taking photos of the railway tracks !

The best place to release lantern

平渓線に沿って十分の商店街が広がっています。あまりに近接しているので驚きます。撮り鉄も至近距離で列車 を撮りまくっています。平渓線は１時間に１本しか走らないので、その間に「線路上で」ランタン を上げまくっています。

ランタン 上げをしたくって行きました。人も多かったせいか バタバタと急かされるように終わってしまいました。もう少し 味わいたかった。。。

線路に入ると1万〜5万元の罰金のはずが、人がうじゃうじゃいて楽しいにも程がある場所。天燈あげを盛り上げてくれるお店のスタッフ も最高！

お土産 のランタン キーホルダーはLED入りで150元から。可愛いので多めに買っても良いと思いますよー。
