Totally loved the place. Animals seems happy and in very good health. Staff is super friendly . This was the first time I ever saw a kangaroo
We spent 5 hours here, and still didn't get to see everything! Go early in the morning to book the experiences and also see all the free shows (most are in the morning)
This is probably the first zoo that I didn't find depressing. Great animal and environmental programmes in place here but also a genuine focus on indigenous culture and history.
Do the kangaroo experience. You get to feed them. Also you can get super close to koalas ????
Really is a sanctuary. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area. The bird exhibit & talk is great!
Birds of prey show is worth scheduling for. Spend some time with the wombat. It's pretty touristy but fun if you're out there for the wineries .
Bird of prey show is very good. Not as many animals as zoo in sydney, but all well kept and nice atmosphere :)
Great sanctuary! Perfect for family day out. Don't forget to use sunblock during summer ????
A place that you must visit... try to go early before the school children bombarded the place because if the children go in before you do, all the animals hide out so you see lesser.
Try the guided tours (small groups) as it is well worth the cost and the extra access you get
Absolutely pay to feed the kangaroos. It's worth every dollar and such an awesome experience for non-aussies
Amazing day out with the family. Bird show was lots of fun. Platypus show was amazing but crowded .
Wonderfully designed space to learn about local Australian wildlife .
This is one of the best zoos I've visited.
Excellent day trip . The platypus and bird shows are well worth attending.
Platypus show was great. Consider the take home messages seriously. Plus, $12 for a close encounter with a type of animal.
The Bird of Prey show was amazing. Definitely worth scheduling time to see.
Beautiful sanctuary and the staff are great! I would recommend a visit.
Love it..... The bird walk through is awesome my boy got the bower bird.

Go to Healesville Sanctuary. Plan your visit to include Birds of Prey show at noon or 2.30pm. Take the time to visit the Rakali (native water rats ) in the enclosure next door to the platypus. Read more

Well organised festival and great blooms. Shame people have to walk amongst them and ignore the signs. The food on offer is a little unhealthy, but go the gozleme ... it's super delicious! - Sigrid de Castella
Don't miss the cherry picking season on summer. Sweet & fresh cherries. Enjoy the all you can eat cherries while you are in the farm. But don't forget to wash them before you eat! - Carmelia
