It's a very good sushi place. If you like cream cheese , try Lasagna or Sushi Hook. The Monkey is a must try and also the Lion King.

Agedashi tofu and the shredded cabbage in wasabi dressing are the only redeeming dishes here. A far cry from what an izakaya should be. Sushi Hook made me sad.

Broccoli roll is bomb! Vegetarian 's will love it. Poki Roll is yummy too.

Really disliked the sushi here. Got the Anna, the Island and the Samurai . They all looked and tasted virtually identical, and all had the same spongy, chewey seaweed wrap . Probably never going back.

Despite its name, you need not worry if there are any hooks in your sushi .

Rude staff . Weird seating policy where large groups are sat before pairs even with plenty of extra tables. Be prepared to wait even when half full. Slow service. Food is great though.

Crunch monkey . Deep fried prawns , cucumber , crab , flakes , and spicey sauce. So good.

The food was good but the service was not. The waiter never came back after taking our order. The server that did help us (Suzi) brought me the wrong dish. Said "the cook was half asleep" won't return

If you like only rolls, I guess it's okay. If you like negiri though, you will be disappointed. The fish was dry and the rice was too.

I wouldn't say I'm "hooked" on this Sushi , go to Mikuni's.
