Koh Tapu (James Bond Island) is a island Takua Thung located in Thailand.
Ao Phang Nga National Park Takua Thung Changwat Phangnga 82000 Thailand
As the name suggests, this island featured in the James Bond film The Man with the Golden Gun (1974) as the hideaway of notorious hitman Scaramanga, where he and Bond eventually have a face off.
Famous for the film "The Man with the Golden Gun", this is a really amazing place ! Maybe of the most iconic in Thailand. Try to go there early to avoid the crowd.
Interesting island with the rock formations and of course james bond 1974 the golden gun movie . If you happen to come to phuket you need to experience this delicate atmosphere
If you come to Phuket , this is a must do, I did the PASSION cruise which made this trip excellent.
Quite a few opportunities for great pictures here & plenty of facilities on the island . Take a tour later in the day, there will be much less crowds + you get an amazing sunset view on the way back.
Come either early or late to avoid the tourist masses and get a proper photograph ! Featured in Tomorrow Never Dies and The Man with the Golden Gun 007 movies
When it's on your schedule on the 2nd day of amazing Thai limestone rocks, it's not that exciting, but still it's interesting to see.
Small island but very nice and beautiful
Nice place, but crowded of tourists . But the visit was nice.
Tourist trap but a must see for a Bond fan!
A must to visit island in Phuket !
One of popular tourist spot, worth to come and enjoy your moment here
Looks better in the movie and the souvenir shops is a bit disappointing. However it is still worth a one time visit
Iconic landmark of Phangnga Bay
Nothing to see but an iconic stone of the movie james bond. Very crowded , sea is muddy. No swimming .
Very touristy , but probably you would be happy to go past, take the photo and tick the box.
The most fabulous and picturesque place I've ever seen. Especially the caves
Beautiful for pics, and amazing nature, a must to do in Thailand
its tourism on speed. not very enjoyable if you don't like being taken from one thing to the next. many bad tour offerings.
Its just a small island . But the view so nice. Becarefull with the sellers there.
James Bond Island got its name after being featured in the 1972 James Bond movie starring Roger Moore
Enjoy For Best Time
Love love and love
Tourist place, not for swimming , water is murky, beach is rocky, good for pics. Save your money, Don't buy anything there
Where The James Bond Movie was made!
Shallow approaches, travelling by yacht, be careful at low tide. Hundreds of people ashore. Place isn't worth it to come, btw the movie is mediocre too.
Awesome place ????????????
Amazing ,,, very good creature
Don't forget to take ur good quality camera here..Beautiful place..
This tour only makes sense with canoe and caves . The island is very small and barely visible behind tourists .
Beautiful views , very crowded .
Tiny island , u should keep your expectations lower , dangerous for swimming
Don’t leave without having seen this magical place
Beautiful place if you are in phuket you have to go
Slippy rocks be careful. Make Bargain for all things.
