Despite how it looks from the outside, this is a great pub with friendly staff and the food is pretty decent too. They do football on match days so sit in the armchair bit if you want to avoid it. - Martyn Davies
So-so pub, with a pleasant roof terrace for summer months. Good beer choice. - Matt Brown
A fiver for sausage and mash or a decent burger at lunchtime is not to be sniffed at. - Brad Emerson
