Majestic Theatre

If you love chandeliers and gilt and ornate mirrors, this is the place! Also has an eerie past era feel!

Convenient to downtown hotels and entertainment areas, this 1704-seat theater opened in April 1921 during the Vaudeville era and hosted a variety of acts from Houdini to Mae West and Bob Hope .

This a great venue for intimate musical performances , despite the substantial size of the main room. Quite a few noteworthy acts come through here, so be sure to check their calendar.

Houdini, Mae West , Duke Ellington and other stars have graced the stage of this theatre which is now a National Historic Landmark .

Opened in 1921, The Majestic hosted a variety of acts from Houdini to Bob Hope . As Vaudeville faded they began hosting movie premieres & their stars such as Jimmy Stewart, Gregory Peck & John Wayne.

Basement bathrooms and high floor bars have the shortest lines .

Movie palace if you see a film here get floor seats.

Cool theater , but balcony seating was high up. Some ushers weren't as friendly or accommodating as they should have been.

Great place. Bring money to park in the garage .

The interior is in disappointing shape compared to other historic theaters elsewhere in the country .
