Maidu Regional Park
The developed area includes the Maidu Community Center, Maidu Library, Veteran's Memorial Rose Garden & Maidu Museum plus lighted softball and soccer complexes, batting cages, a soccer arena, a skate park, a full basketball court, walking/bike paths, picnic areas and children’s play areas.

Great place to go for a walk or a run. Three laps around the park (Rocky Ridge -> Johnson Ranch Dr -> McLaren Dr) is just over 10K / 6.21 miles. Get out there and find out what your best 10k is ;-)
The park is updated and has great stuff for kids. Like a little town ! We come here for the infant swings . :)
Good playground on the north side of the park . It's a bit old, but still has something for kids up to five or so.
If you are walking your dog in this park be certain to wash the paws after their walk. The lawn is fertilized often. Don't want your pup getting sick. : (
