Safeway

This Safeway is awesome for those who are trying to eat healthy/organic/vegan/vegetarian. A lot if the same stuff you find at Whole Foods and often a lower price.

One of the better Safeway locations in the area. Modern, clean , well-staffed, plenty of parking . Great wine section and tons of prepared foods.

The area inside w Starbucks and tables is a great place to get work done

Seems clear that discounts offered on price tags, e.g. Buy 10, Pay $1 ea., were not programmed into the cash register—so on “discounted ” items receipt shows that we paid more than intended. Beware!

Pretty good wine selection in a pinch.

Starbucks opens early here for the early birds ????!

Actually wife says not any better during the week. Best tip is to go somewhere else.

Selection of foods.

The meat/fish department was closed at 7:45pm on a Thursday. Seems ridiculously early to me. No one could explain why, the manager said "it should close at 8". Hmmm

Unbearably understaffed on weekends and people are nice but generally not in a hurry. Not going here again if possible.
