Rotary Storyland & Playland is a amusement park West Fresno Fresno located in United States.
890 W Belmont Ave (Belmont & HWY 99) Fresno , CA 93728 United States
The amazing Storyland play park was constructed in 1962. It was the creation of Dr. Joe Logan of the local rotary club, who had organized a children's playland next door to it that opened in 1955.
It is a surreal "walk-through" fairy tale experience, with giant sculpture recreations of fairy tale stories such as Humpty Dumpty, the Three Little Pigs , Jack & Jill and dozens more.
Cool for the kids... The real fun is at Playland... Most rides are 3 to 5 tickets each.. Only 50 cents per ticket! My kids loved all of the little rides they had to offer. They need an update tho.
It closed down several years ago due to lost funding, but was saved at the last minute by donations & the many of the sculptures were rehabilitated.
Don’t forget your sunscreen ! Kiddos love to stay and play as long as they can and the Fresno sun can be damaging! Great place to spend the day with friends and family!
Note- storyLand is only open on Saturdays and Sundays!
Fun and entertaining place for the family. Unfortunately, the arcade/midway needs some attention. Don't let that be the main drawing point for you. Otherwise, all the other attractions are great. - EJ
Best park in the area. Kinda wish the pond was kept nicer and the play structures were painted more often. - Kelsey Heater
Awesome beautiful park. I travel to Fresno a couple times per year & always try to run here. Always finding something new. So much beauty!! - Tammy Rummy
The new safari place is really cool. Definetly upgraded but the zoo is always fun for any age. I'm 20 and I still love going! - Crystal Cobarrubia
