This little cantina by the racetrack hasn't changed and I hope it never will. Happy hour (street tacos !) with well placed tvs for us sports fans ... Enchilada and torta supreme are so yummy! 😋😋😋

I always get the beef machaca burrito (have to like onions , egg , and peppers ). Also, look forward to the cheesie chips to the side of it :). They also have a location in Carlsbad (called Norte's).

Refinery 29: ...been in business for over 50 years...housed in a former residence and comes complete with a taco buffet , two heated outdoor patios , and two bars that get jam-packed during happy hour .

Margaritas are phenomenal. Tostada Suprema (half order) is more than enough for two with the complimentary chips & salsa .

Get the tostada supreme! With beef you'll fall in love. Also get chili verde on any burrito ! Coming from a Mexican food expert ;)

I got the combination and it was huge! Best chili rellenos I've ever had, with a delicious carne asada burrito .

Ask for a side of burrito sauce when ordering the enchiladas . Gives you a differnet flare! Also, if you like hot salsa , ask for the diablo sauce .

Strong drinks and solid, but by no means inspired, dive Mexican in a festive setting. The prices are right, though.

Crab enchiladas are yummy but the waitress might tell you they will take longer because they come from downstairs! Wth?

Order your margarita "skinny" to have only lime juice and no sweet & sour. :P Watch that first sip - they're strong here!

Drinks and a lot of variety on the menu makes it good.

The side of Serrano peppers makes the meal! Fried and salted to perfection.

Still one of my favorite Mexican sit down restaurants !

This is not an authentic Mexican restaurant . It is a dumbed down American style . And VERY overpriced

The chicken enchiladas and chicken and rice soup with avocado , onion and cilantro is the best anywhere!

Try the cabbage salad !
