Rare few places u can get Gula Melaka (brown palm sugar ) w ur beverage. Adds pleasant aroma 2 ur sips :-) It can b very sweet, so order 'siew dai' (less sweet) if u r used 2 regular kopi/teh flavour

If u r like me who prefer your local coffee undiluted, less sweet and without 'si' (evaporated milk ), ask them to do without. Thus the order is 'kopi-tiloh-siudai-mai-si'.

There are two queues. The one on the extreme right is where you go first to order and make the payment. The queue to the left is where you collect your drink.

Gula Melaka is in the local Malay language which actually refers to Palm Sugar or Coconut Sugar.
