Don’t be fooled by the name, Eggy’s is more than just breakfast (though it does have an extensive egg-centric menu). Modeled after the homey diners of the ‘60s, the menu is full of items designed to give a home-cooked feel. Think pancakes, grilled cheese sandwiches and burgers...

This place is the best. Omelettes are fantastic (and big!) plus it's BYOB . Line moves fast so don't get scared by the wait for a table.
Must try the smoothies . Don't forget to mention no sugar! It's quite sweet without the added sugar. I had the mixed berry . You may skip the latte / cappuccino , quantity/ quality: price is amiss.
Download the @Freebie_App to see if your social score nets you a free Eggy's burger or Eggy's milkshake . I got both and didnt pay a dime! Gratuity isn't included so tip your server!! #FreebieApp
Irish skillet was dope. Great cheddar and corn beef hash mix. Absolutely get fresh squeeze juice . Amazing grapefruit and OJ and makes mimosas next level.
Eggy’s cooks its peppery patties to medium-well, but they remained plenty juicy. It's tough to hold together, with pastrami and a fried egg , but don't fill yourself up and ignore the hand-cut fries . Read more
I love the patty melt and they have the best fries in Chicago. The turkey club is also amazing. Pancakes are great too. You really can't go wrong.
One of my favorite little lunch spots in the Loop, whether taking a break from a bike ride or meeting the other half near work. Never a bad meal here, definitely worth checking out.
Seriously the best breakfast I think I've ever had. Biscuit Benedict with potatoes and side of bacon . So very good! Everything that I saw there looked amazing.
Chicago's little breakfast secret. Tucked inside of River West Eggy's is a nice, warm spot for great food and never a long line . Try the chilaquiles for a good time
My goto spot for breakfast when staying in the Loop. It beats the hotels easily. It can be hard to find but worth the effort.
Nice hidden place in the residential area in front of Millennium park . Good prices and have beer/cocktails as well .
Don't get Green Eggs and Ham if you don't want a delicious and somewhat unconventional breakfast . Their Benny is also great if you want an unconventional take on something more conventional .
The restaurant itself that can be tricky to locate. This diner is located in the Lakeshore East complex hidden away just north of Millennium Park . Read more
Satisfy your breakfast cravings (all day long) with its breakfast sandwich , stacked with fiercely sweet-tart pickled onions , crisp shards of glazed bacon and a slather of herb aioli . Read more
The Eggy's Benedict was killer. Maple glazed pulled pork on a mini waffle , with crispy potatoes . Don't forget a milkshake !
Generally it is a cool place to have breakfast , the Verb Omelette was really good but a bit oily to me, better share with your friends coz the dish is kinda heavy.
Amazing breakfast ! Great service! Park in the garage for free and stop into the grocery store - buy something and they validate your parking !
Really large breakfast portions. Forget dinner plans. You won’t need them. Yum
The Florentine crepes were amazing! Also worth trying the American Skillet if you want to go traditional American!
Perfect for those who like lunch fare for breakfast ! Whole menu available all day. Don't miss the homemade potato chips which usually come warm.
Had the Build Your Own and it was out of this world delish!!! Potatoes are insanely good. :) YUM!!!!
Solid brunch spot with plenty of options and robust menu. Bread they serve as a side is memorable (i.e. not your average toast )
The delicious Eggy's Benedict ($13.50) features poached eggs on pork belly with maple syrup over wedges of maple-soaked cornbread underneath a light Hollandaise . Read more
Skillets are great. And the Bloody Mary is spicy ????
Loved the breakfast potatoes and cheesy grits . Solid coffee and pancakes , too. And big omelets !
Green eggs and ham and breakfast sandwich were both delicious. Good service , reasonable prices, welcoming. Tough to find parking in this area though.
Great breakfast . They were too much for us, but really good.
Nice place to have a breakfast but be careful as portions are huge
I tried the Irish skillet - corn beef hash , eggs and potatoes with cheddar cheese - delicious!
Their French toast was amazing, and so were the potatoes that come with any egg specialty.
Sit at the breakfast bar in the back if you are a food voyeur. Watching the food come out of the kitchen will leave you drooling.
Enjoyed the nacho egg . Amazing services and delicious selection of drinks
Eggs ! ???? and eggs ???? no matter how u like'em! Great place for breakfast ???????? #Yeswaa
Eggy’s breakfast sandwich ! So good. So messy.
I loved the American Skillet ???? the pancake was also delicious.

Delicious brunch and super friendly staff . Great place!

Going Ala carte is the best here. one pancake , some eggs and bacon is the perfect sized meal!
The omelettes are good as are the cinnamon roll pancakes .
Very good food! Excellent service ! Glad I found this place, keep up the good work.
The green eggs and ham are okay. I had to add Sriracha chili sauce to give it some kick. The people I was with recommended the Reuben .
The Green Eggs and Ham was absolutely delicious.
Green Eggs & Ham was fantastic! Service is excellent.
The Mexican skillet is awesome!! Ask for jalapeños .
The Biscuit Benedict is the best eggs benny I've ever had.

Byob !!! I always forget that!! Chilaques were amazing
Free Wifi is a bonus, but let them know if you are waiting outside! Plus don't sit at the table by the door - drafty.
Great food and service.
Fantastic grocery, deli, restaurant, meat, produce (bananas .33 a pound), liquor and wine all priced competitvely and personnel very helpful. Wish we had one in Des Moines area. - Ted Coppock
