Virginia Beach Oceanfront 19th and Atlantic

Get there early in the morning hours for a spot close to the water. We also saw dolphins swimming close to shore.

If you've seen my tip for Myrtle Beach ...just know that this is much the same! I wasn't impressed and I was so hoping to be! I love this beautiful state of Virginia! But not this beach !

The beach area is very slow right now especially on the weekdays. All the stores have sales so the prices are only slightly higher than double what they really should be. Buy, Buy, Buy!!!

Plenty of Boardwalk space for walkers and bikers. Nice place.

I like stores on a boardwalk but Jersey raised has made it that way… very nice though, clean but portable bathrooms not great, should install permanent ones

A nice clean beach that has lots of room.

Its ok. If you have experienced Hawaii or any of the pacific Island Beaches . Then this place is just ok. It does not even come close to the beaches in the Pacific Islands

The water was so amazingly warm here! So much fun!

Such a problem with public restrooms and changing rooms! You better change before the beach

It's busiest near the pier come b4 noon or head north to avoid being crowded
