Brookside Resort

We were amazed because we got so much more than decent. The room was beautiful! It had a fire place & creek front balcony . We felt like it was our own little cabin . We also loved the pool and hot tub !

we both enjoyed our stay..and yes we would stay there again....really like the brook on the back side of the room,it was very calming ...we also enjoyed the free breakfast.....staff was very nice…

Absolutely love staying at Brookside Resort! The rooms are always clean and fresh! Staff is very friendly and knowledgable ! My husband and I stay at Brookside at least 2 times a year!

This is such a beautiful and relaxing place to stay . It's just enough out-of-the-way to be out of the traffic but is close to everything. A good pancake breakfast is within walking distance

We come back as often as possible. We love the family atmosphere and spend many enjoyable moments on the private balcony just soaking up the relaxing view and sounds of the mountain stream .

The room was clean and neat. The pool was nice. The people friendly and helpful. I had always wanted to stay here and finally we did. We plan to return in November for a longer stay.

We stayed here 35 years ago for our honeymoon and loved it then. It was so cozy with the fireplace and isn't in the middle all the traffic. It was just as wonderful as it was 35 years ago!

Absolutely love this little gem! The staff could not have been more accommodating. I requested a room on an upper floor that had a fireplace and overlooked the stream . They happily accommodated me.

My husband and I spent an anniversary there, and my daughter and her friend have stayed there two times. It is clean , the breakfast is great, and the people friendly and helpful.

The location,the service,the free breakfast ,the wood fire place,the window open with noise from the stream were all awesome. my wife & i have stayed there for over 30 years.

We stayed in a room overlooking the river , with a romantic fireplace and spacious king-size bed; the view was gorgeous and the location was perfect for us

My husband and I ran away for the weekend. Found brookside and was very surprised. Very friendly . Allowed us an early check in. Room was great. Bathroom was a little outdated but very usable.

Perfect location! We walked to town and enjoyed tasting different wines and spirits handcrafted as we watched. There is a babbling brook out back with Rainbow Trout

We loved this place so much last year we reserved the same room for our visit this year. Front desk staff was very friendly and we enjoyed visiting with the office dog too!

A little dated but charming and rustic at the same time. Weve been going every year around Memorial Day for years. Awesome brook and grilling area.Great location too.

Was a beautiful hotel with a great view of the river right out of our back foot! Carpets and bathroom sink were slightly outdated but the size of the room and the view more than made up for it!

The location and value are amazing. Very close to downtown and still able to have peace if desired. The stream behind hotel is beautiful and allows for an amazing trip.

Our assigned room was flooded the morning we were to arrive. The hotel quickly prepared another room for us before we arrived. They did a great job considering they were fully booked for the weekend.

We will definitlely be booking at the resort again in the future. They are clean courteous and very neat, Thank you for making our weekend very special!!

It's a little old but it's cozy and right in Gatlinburg. Sweet Jack has a really good deal for this resort online it's only $97 for Friday and Saturday night in a king or queen room.

Love this resort . Been here twice now. Our room with a king is huge and has a fireplace . Its on orbits fot $44 a night. Awesome deal

The rooms were clean and the guest check in was pleasant. The gentleman behind the counter was very polite. The sound of the river was relaxing.

The property is nice and scenic with walking path along the brook . The rooms are large and cozy with fire place.

We got a room away from the main building. Our room had a back door that we to out to the brook . It was shaded and you couldn't hear the cars going right by because of the water in brook .

Very outdated rooms, out of the 4 nights we were there the maid never cleaned much less vacuumed even after it was requested 2 days straight. Brandon the night staff was very friendly and helpful.

Dated but quaint. Great stone fireplace . I could fly fish from the deck!

Its old and the sheets were little torn.. But the staff was rally good, room was clean and it was decent enough for a overnight stay.. Good location and comparatively good.

Breakfast is limited and the same everyday.

Also, we asked for the comforter to be changed. They said, the Maid is gone and they don't know when they can get over to change it. REALLY? Never will stay again. This is pathetic.

I can't stand this place. So nasty. Stained comforter and room smells like piss!
