Always Amazing! Their house creamy Italian (I bought some to go) is the Best, their French Onion soup..wow! And oddly enough (I know some people will cringe) their Liver & Onions ..as good as my Dads!

Try the Farmer's Omelet with sausage , a side of scrapple, and a coffee at 2:00AM. Damn good.

The French toast is the best. The cream cheese omelette with tomatoes and chives is amazing.

The eggs Benedict are the best in the city ... they don't have them all the time but when they do you need to order them. Now.

Wife had the French onion soup and corn beef special she said was good. I had the Popeye burger.The taste was good but it was on the small side. I would return but order something different next time

Creamed chipped beef is great! but Mercer Street cafe has the best in the City .

It's a cool old school diner . They are famous for their chicken croquettes , it's not my thing so I didn't really like them.the French onion soup was excellent though!

Had the stuffed cabbage , very good!! Wish I woulda tried the chicken croquettes though :(...

Came 6am on Sunday for breakfast and mimosas . The bar doesn't open for four or five hours. (Waitress wasn't sure.) Guess it's coffee .

I've been spreading the word about croquettes and every time I bring someone to try them they're out ....I'm so disappointed !!!!
