This park is where the original Eeyore's Birthday Party event (an Austin tradition) was held, in 1964.
Medium size splash pad . No shade. A few shaded benches for moms. Varied sprayers give added interest for a larger age group.
Be sure to grab a doggy bag at the front gate BEFORE entering the park - actually the stand is usually out so bring your own.
Don't come here looking for a good run, it's very small. More suitable for picnics/naps. Also, it has an eerie feeling for some reason!
Splash pad is open now and nice for babies to preteens.
