Try the Met Burger , chat to the friendly bar staff , enjoy the chilled atmosphere. Busy at all times, good place to "work from home" in the day, social drink in the week and weekend night out venue.
It's difficult to go wrong with the menu here, but the burger is special. Friendly service too.
I really like this bar . It is expensive tho. Great beer garden in summer. Gets v busy
Food is great. Not shy on portion size, that's for sure.
Get the lowenbrau lager big pint glass worth it and loverly taste
Decent whisky selection
We were asked to contact the police and when we asked why they foolishly jumped off the bar and did a wee
Sunday afternoons are best spent here with a pint and a paper. 'Idiots' mentioned probably arrive in the evening.
Better options locally for real ale but a big and dependable pub .
If you're a pretentious wanker you'll love it.
Great throughout the week but too busy and full of posers at the weekend!!!
Three of us arrived, tables pretty much all empty and none of us got our first choice main meal.....
We think the new menu's gone up it's own arse. How do you 'smoke' mashed potato ??
The Met is a great place to drink with your mates and meet new people!
Full of wankers . The Woodstock on Barlow moor Road is much nicer
excellent food, great atmosphere and a spacious beer garden
View from inside the bar in summer
burger is tasty but greasy ... not cheap as well ..
Nice atmosphere. Overpriced. Food 8/10.
Can be good. If you are feeling less pretentious , cross the road and check out The Railway.
Good place in the daytime for mums and babies
Amazing burger
Free wifi ! And speedy!
Best pub in Manchester, chav free
What an amazing bar !
cool place:)
Frustrating place, when the sun shines outside is good.
Brian Horton likes the Met. Good man.
Good food!
Busy
Overpriced, moronic clientele. Drawing room opposite is a much better choice!
Full of idiots
Massively improved. Great outdoor seating area with lighting/heating. Quick, efficient service and decent value for money. House wines are tip top. - Paul Myerscough
Great place, always drove past, finally took a step in! Will be back for sure! Nice crowd as well! - Namit Agarwal
Narrow, cosy bar. Good jukebox. Coninental beers on draught, no real ale. - Richard Cleverley
Good quality food, would go again to try other dishes. Recommend the momos (dumplings) for an authentic Nepalese dish. - Hannah Luddy
