Hudson's Seafood House on the Docks

We had oysters , shecrab soup , shrimp , and the best blackened Mahi Mahi sandwich I have ever had. Incredibly delicious with a laid back atmosphere . This place is everything a seafood place should be.

All the food was excellent. We ordered just about everything on the menu. We had lunch , dinner , and lunch the following day. That's how good the food was!!!!

Everything is absolutely awesome! Blackened grouper tacos are truly out of this world. Local oysters yummy! Even the hush puppies , cole slaw and potato salad are simply delicious! A must visit!

Ask for the fresh, local shrimp . Not all shrimp on the menu are fresh. Relaxing views , dog friendly . Prepare to wait for a seat.

If there's a wait, head to the bar outside. Rocking Chair cocktail was delicious and their bartenders rock 👍🏻

The stuffed shrimp is great! Wait on an outside table , the difference is worth the wait. Bring your wallet. More than $$ pricey -- but best meal in the island .

Cool spot with tasty food & live music by the water....but a dog on the table. I understand you have your locals but not everyone appreciates a dog on a bar where you are eating/drinking

We had a party of four and all ordered something different and everyone raved about how good each of their meals were. The service was outstanding as well !

First visit to Hudson's and the entree's were too many to choose, they all sounded great. The Crab Cakes , Scallops and She Crab Soup were fantastic. We will come back before going north.

Don't forget to look around on the dock! Sometimes you see dolphins swimming by! Anyways, their scallops are HUGE! And the staff is very eager.

Last night we passed a time at the bar with Ben and Benton. What phenomenal service !! The guys couldn't have been nicer, steering us around the menu making excellent recommendations and beverages.

This was my fav place out of all the places we tried in Hilton Head. Crab legs were cooked perfectly and so yummy. Hushpuppies were awesome - I ate way too many. She Crab soup was great too!

Atlantic salmon is next level. You can’t go wrong with whatever you get. My wife’s favorite is the key lime !

Sometimes I come here and see if I can catch a fish with my teeth while I'm waiting for shrimp boat salad - then I flop it on my plate - such fun in the Low Country !!!

Their key line pie is the best on the island , we think. We've tried The Salty Dog and Foolish Frog in Frogmore.

Watch dolphins from the bar outside. Local oysters are fab!

Waiter was a little ditsy. Hush puppies not as great as said. She crab soup is ok. Shrimp and grits is my recommendation. Salmon plate was not worth the price. I get better inland. Overall a bit $$$.

Best meal of the week! Oysters Rockefeller is great and I highly recommend the stuffed flounder !!

There's an amazing lunch atmosphere on the deck if you don't mind the heat! Little to no wait, too.

The platter was ok. Portions were on the small side. For a seafood restaurant I was even better.

The hushy puppies are very good, but the food was average at best. There are better seafood places on the Island . I believe many people come for the outside view and seems to be a tourist trap.

Don't eat outside-- the gnats and other bugs are insane... Even after the bug spray from waitstaff . Food wasn't amazing.. But I only got a salad with salmon . She crab soup & hush puppies were good :)

Fried shrimp and oysters were absolutely perfect, like I grew up eating. Very rare when dining out.

The Shrimp & Grits w/ Bacon Gravy is OUT OF THIS WORLD!

Blackened chicken club is soooo good. Beautiful view in or out of the restaurant .

Vegans & Vegetarians , the Spinach and Pear Salad is amazing! As is the 7-Day Cole Slaw .

There are many tasty morsels but also things that should never touch your lips such as the toilet bowl or the red hot skillet in the kitchen - I know opposite ends of the spectrum - heed this warning!

Get some heaters for outside! Great spicy shrimp but Mahi was overcooked.
