If you get there early enough you can snag a great table by the window on the first floor of Reid. These seats seem more secluded, often have access to a power point and provide lovely natural light !
The refurbished Reid library is a fantastic place not only for group study but also for relaxation. There are great comfort areas where you can kick back and De-stress from all the study.
Great go-to desks that usually always have one seat free whenever the library is at its busiest. Good spot for doing work IF you need to be on ground floor, and plentiful in powerpoints in the desks.
Reid’s third floor is a ‘silent zone’, making it a great location for productive individual study. All students are allowed to study in this space. The desks have a lot of room for great work space .
A modern contemporary learning space. Perfect for collaborative studies on the ground floor which makes use of furniture designed for this type of learning & on the upper floors for individual study.
The ground floor is a great area for personal study. The and long desks' have enough space for you to lay out all your materials. It includes collaborative spaces for students to organize discussions.
Third floor tables near the windows are a great place to study. With natural lighting and lots of tables to choose from. Only downfall, wifi connection isn't that great so plan ahead!
The outdoor area on the ground floor provides a great place for collaborative study while in a spacious environment which can easily accommodate current social distancing protocols.
The first floor is a great area for private study, the individual desks really help you to concentrate. If you're looking for someone more talk friendly , go downstairs to the collaborative area.
The couches on the second floor are secluded but allow collaboration. Plus, they have power points for multi-device use, lots of lighting and are comfortable to work on.
Study alone whilst also being really close to other people. Areas with these tables are generally quieter than temp collab area on the first floor. It's hard to get a spot with a power point , gl hf.
Reid library is an interactive, collaborative and engaging space for students to successfully cooperate or study independently using a variety of resources such as books , computers or laptops!
This training room can be found on the 1st floor of the reid library . It's a good study area that provides computers in a quieter environment than the general 1st floor area. The doors can be closed.
The private study rooms on the top floor are great for collaborative learning. Keep voices low as the floor is mostly for silent learning. Wifi is bad up there so bookbased learning is recommended
The bottom floor has a great atmosphere if you like working somewhere with background chatter, but it can get pretty packed, so I would suggest getting in early if you want a good seat!
This place is a great place for collaborative learning. It is a very open space and has a lot of resources available for students such as computers equipped with advanced softwares and many books .
This library will be packed most of the time, especially during peak hours. Personally, I will go to the Guild Village for to my school work just because usually I can find a place to work .
Post grad and can't find a place to study? Try the second floor Post Grad study area , there is always room in there and only Post Grads can enter it by swiping your student card.
Study booths can be found on the ground floor of Reid and are very useful for group work . Make sure to book in advance if you plan use one however as they are booked up quickly.
Great place to come if you do not have a computer as there are plenty of great desktop computers here to do your assignments it is located on the first floor of the Reid library
The bottom of Reid library is a great place to study and get your coffee and lunch . The Quobba Gnarning cafe is so close to your study area getting lunch is easy!
The printers in Reid library can scan documents to your student email for free. There is also a printer on the 3rd floor which is usually less busy than the ones by the entrance!
The Reid Library is a great place for group work with plenty of space. The bottom floor has booths which is good for privacy, although they are normally very high in demand.
Reid is a great place to go if you want to be alone and concentrate. The small desk can be uncomforable for a few but I find it fine. Coffee and food are conveniently nearby :)
The outside area of the Reid Library is perfect for collaboration and discussing class content. Additionally, it provides a new and fresh study environment.
This is a good place for study. Level 1 is collaborative zone. Level 2 is silent zone. Level 3 is quiet zone. You can find enough and quiet space to study.
Study area outside is a great place to meet and also good if you need a more quiet place than inside the library . The tree provides good shade when it is sunny.
The learning spaces on the ground floor allow for collaboration and teamwork with your peers and is particularly useful when you have a groups assignment to do!

This place is good for working individually or working in groups. There is easy access to food, water and power points to charge any technological devices.
This is such a nice place for group work and discussion! Also, it is so comfortable and willingness to study here!
If you bring a laptop and plan to be here a while, try to find a seat along the walls as there are far more power points here than at the tables!
The bottom floor outside part of Reid can be great for collaborative work or for lunch . In the early morning, this place is quiet enough for individual study, but later in the day it gets too noisy !
Big study rooms on the 3rd floor with a whiteboard are available for booking by all students. These are great for collaborative work!
The grass outside the Reid library is a great place to study if you want to get out in the sun and fresh air .
Reid bottom floor is a collaboration area which is great for group work/study. The third level is better for silent independent study.
Reid Library has microwaves and boiling water as well as a great collaborative zone where you can eat and study!
The grass out the front of Reid is a lovely place to sit, catch up with friends or just watch the ducks !
Reid library first floor is best for individual study. It is quite and comfortable and even you can charge your mobile and laptop devices
A good area for collaborative learning is the tables outside the circle, because the noise limit isn't silence, you can discuss for group work here
New desks are Reid are great! Heaps of space just remember to charge up before you get here (not many ports )
Around lunch time is the hardest time to find a seat. Best to get in early where you have plenty of choice!
2nd floor has lots of great places to study!! It is nice a quiet and you can usually still find a spot, even in peak times! :)
The corner tables of the bottom floor are good for group study and are close to power points , good for charging laptops

The 1st Floor of Reid Library provides desktop computers for all students to save them the hassle of bringing their own laptops.
3rd floor, side facing James Oval: look for wifi modem on ceiling to get 100% wifi reception. There are desks right under it.

The bottom floor is a good place to interact with others. Good environment for group work . Not recommended for quiet study.
Ground floor of Reid is rest for collaborative study however it can get quite noisy sometimes. Also keep in mind that it's cafeteria can be quite expensive !
A great set up and learning environment with lots of small group tables for small or individual use, and a couple of booths for group work. Very convenient for after hours use through the side door. - Niki Tye
Ground floor is great setup for group and collaborative work while the top floors are nice and quiet and comfortable for individual study - Maitland Casey
