Finally gave this a shot after driving by many times & what a surprise! This is definitely 1 of our top 3 all time favorite steak joints in Tampa Bay ! NY Strip was perfect and the service is top notch
VERY elegant/$$$. Definately for special occasions . Experience = unforgetable. Show different types of raw steaks prior ordering. Tried the Porterhouse/Strip & Lobster Mac (8/10), Crème Brûlée (9/10).
Bascom's is one of the best restaurant , banquet or bar experiences you can have in central Pinellas County . They manage to be both refined and accessible; a safe bet for business or pleasure.
Cocktails . Lemon drop and Manhattan were great. My wife said the grouper was delicious and my ribeye was great too.

The food was good, steak cooked properly. My issues is the service attitude. We could not drink because of a crew duty issue, so don't give us an attitude if we don't buy your bottle of wine .

Lobster bisque is AMAZING!
For the price I didn't enjoy the food. The steak tasted burnt and the chicken marmalade was chewy and peppery. Service could have been better.
The pork chops -- huge portion so you can split it!
If ordering soup , go for French Onion over Lobster Bisque .
