Faidleys has amazing lump crab cakes . Definitely priced for the tourist . While this Market has been around for a long time, it does not hold a candle to Pikes Place in Seattle.

If you want an amazing greasy cheeses teak combo for under 6$ this place is awesome.I'm not sure the stand towards the middle. Asian dude runs it..he's super cool &polite! DELISH!

There's seating up front, but ONLY if you've bought food at Faidley's, which you will do because the jumbo lump crab cake is AMAZING!

if you enter at Lexington & Greene Street, right at that entrance is a great breakfast spot . the sign says "The Original Caribbean Breeze". good service & good meal

My advice would be to avoid the bathroom , but don't miss Faidley's, for their great seafood/oyster bar .

For absolutely no money, you can enter the Market , walk around, watch butchers and fishmongers at work, and smell wonderful food cooking. You'll get a feel for how we used to go food shopping.

Be aware: the area is really bad. Even my taxi driver warned me not to use the bathroom . Glad I kept his number - NO cab in the area. You will be waiting for a taxi next to crack whores looong time.
