Figure out what you want to see and where it is before you get there, ESPECIALLY your first time at Dragon Con. The crowds make finding things even more difficult.
... check with locals / get advice from locals as well as take photos with Freys and Dharma Initiative folk. #razzLedazzLe
Remember when you talk sh*t about people as they pass you, chances are good that they can hear you. This is especially important if they are bigger and meaner than you
I know the costumes are cool, but seriously, don't stop in the middle of a crowded walkway to take a picture!! The people behind you will thank you
Midtown Tavern on Piedmont Ave. serves food until 2am and is open until 2:30am. Free PBR and Jäger shot if your in costume !
Personal Hygeine, Showering & Deodorant are your friends, be intimate with them. Your fellow con goers will love you for it!
If you decide to give blood- go earlier in the AM...later in day, longer lines ...plus, awesome snacks :)
Hyatt bar is where it's at... and the new walkway leads directly to the Marriott bar . No more navigating the stairs of doom in tricky costumes !

Caribou in the Peachtree Plaza food court--one of the only places I can find with free wi-fi so far.
Do not taunt heavily armed & armoured cosplayers , they are hot and stuffy in there and quick to violence!
You can't do everything
Leave your big stroller at home. Frak leave your big anything at home.
Find yourself a spot to sit back, relax, and watch all of the amazing costumes walk by!
Everyone welcome to d*con. I look forward to seeing your costumes and meeting all of you!
