The Navajo name for Upper Antelope Canyon is Tse' bighanilini, which means "the place where water runs through rocks." Upper Antelope is at about 4,000 feet elevation and the canyon walls rise 120 feet above the streambed. Located within the LeChee Chapter of the Navajo Nation.

Stunning views . Make sure you book online ahead of time. Either take the 10:30 slot or 12:00pm slots. That's when the sun gets into the canyon . If it's not sunny don't make the trip.
This place is beautiful, but crowded . If you want good photos, book a photo tour . You must have a tripod and SLR for this tour but it's the only way to get the shots. The guides are helpful.
guide Leon is considerate and professional, who instructs us how to take good pictures in the valley and assists photo taking by throwing sands in the sky
Stay to your right as you're entering since people are walking back on the left side to leave the canyon . Do you see the eye in the pic?
Amazing place! Our guide was really great! Good thing this canyon is not public anymore, preserved really good
Gorgeous place, definitely a must see. Try to get there early to avoid large crowds and to get great photos.
Tour from 1PM to 4 for a reduced entrance fee. AM tours are $40.00 per person, at 1PM it drops to $25.00. Interesting rock formations . When in Page, AZ visit 'Horseshoe Bend'. Very scenic overlook.
More cavernous than lower canyon , which we liked a bit better. But on a sunny day this may be better with the sunlight beams. We came on a cloudy day in December.
You can't get in without a tour . It's crowded and imo is overrated. Come for a selfie around sunset or sunrise for optimal lighting.
Wear something with a hoodies and shades! Or else you will get sand in your hair, clothes , and everywhere, not to mention getting sand in your mouth and eyes.
Must be on a tour to get into the canyon . Not handicap accessible . Dusty and flying sands be careful of your camera equipment.
the canyon itself is beautiful. but the tour you have to book is horrible. lots and lots of other people are herded trough the slot canyon , you barely have time to enjoy. i wouldn't do it again.
I highly recommend using Adventurous Antelope Canyon Photo tours . http://www.navajoantelopecanyon.com/tours.html
Antelope Canyon Navajo Tours at the location is the family operated business. Come on by and say HI! We love meeting new people.
Lala is the best guide EVER!
You need to do the Tour with Guide Leonard from "Antilope Slot Canyon Tours - by Chief Tsosie's". This Tour us amazing!
25 usd at 8:45 am, 40 usd after that! It might be beautiful but this becomes a rip-off
If you're in Page, just do it, such an amazing place
Amazing canyon
Must join 12:00pm tour for the best lighting effect
7 and 8am tours not recommended for the month of November.
40 dollars per person
One of the highlights of our trip. A must see when you are in this region. The 90 minutes tour is awesome, especially while you get tips how and when to make the most beautiful pictures. - Sander Zuurhout
One of my very favorite views in the area. Small hike to get there. Great views regardless of crowd. Don't miss it! - Ellen Ennes
Our tour guide Corwin was awesome. Of course, there was breathtaking natural beauty (research the best times to go!) but the highlight were the awesome & knowledgeable folks. - Terry
