If you like hoppy beers , this is the place for you. If you don't, there's not much to choose from. Food is great! Alehouse mac and cheese with blackened cajun chicken . Order it! You won't be sorry.

Great beer and great food. Our server was so awesome and attentive and knowledgeable ! Worth the visit for sure!

Try the Magic Shroom Pizza - Roasted garlic purée, mozzarella/provolone cheese blend, chicken & espresso sausage , Gorgonzola , mushroom ragout, roasted red peppers & scallions .

Try the Korean Short Ribs - house marinated short ribs served on a bed of wild white rice with chinese broccoli , topped with fresh chopped scallions , and sweet & spicy sauce . (via @Foodspotting)

Crab cake sandwich was outstanding! Had a weird craving for it on the drive here and it exceeded expectations! Delicious! Should have added a pic but I thought of it after I scarffed it down!

90 IPA delicious, nice fruity notes. Had the fish tried, ale batterfried catfish and cod was great, the fried shrimp too heavy. Fries good and coleslaw average.

Be adventurous and try some of the rare/extreme beers . World Wide Stout , Olde School Barleywine and Burton Baton are all great beers that you won't get on draft many other places.

Ask for draft combos not on the list... i.e. A mix of a seasonal like DFH Aprihop and 90 minute or the Chicory Stout and 60 minute . DFH Bliss!

Beer is great here but forget about trying to stop by on a Saturday night for ax quick bite

The ribs were awesome & so were the crab cakes . 60 IPA was delicious on tap ... I'll be every time I am in the Fairfax area

The streak that is covered in chimichuri smells and tastes delicious. My particular streak was a little tough but I wouldn't hold that against it.

Ask for the 75 minute IPA . Incredible. Best beer in the country !

Burgers are great. Today is a Reuben day though- and chase it down with an amazing Burton Baton 90 minute IPA .

Stopped here on a quick trip to dc and had a great time. Beer was fantastic and bartenders were very helpful.

Try the Fries Rings & Chips - Could use more sauce diversity (an aioli & ketchup come standard) but otherwise perfectly crisp fried munchies.

If you like a sweeter wine , try their Chateau Jiahu (beer !) if they have it on draft . It's amazing!

It's an Ale House ! Drink! Don't occupy that bar stool drinking non-alcoholic drink -- like what I just heard: "Can I get a mojito without the alcohol , please?"

The sandwiches are amazing. Good fries too. The buffalo chicken dip was not that great won't get that again.

Growler prices are way too expensive , just pick up bottles at Total Wine . Great beer and good food make it a worthwhile stop!

The garlic parmesan wings are probably the most garlicky things I've ever eaten. They're good (and worth trying) but they'll be with you for a couple days.

I got the Lobster Mac and it wasn't hot at all when it came out. Delicious, but I wanted to pop it in a microwave. Order the Namaste beer ! Yum!

get the punkin ale when it is in season, you will not regret it

Try mixing Aprihop with 90 Minute IPA to give an already great seasonal beer a little more of a hoppy flavor.

Good bar food, get the pretzel . Fantastic beer as always.

Can't go wrong with any beer here! The fish and chips was great.

Pumpkin ale is available in some great combinations. Ask your server.

Try the 120 IPA . Take a cab home. :-) Be sure to take note of the ABV.

Alehouse 75 is delicious. Half 60 minute . Half 90 minute .

go to the bar and ask for drew (steelers), george (gators ), kelsey (awesome person)... and drink the pearl jam faithfull beer

Sat at the bar for happy hour . Had great service from Joshua, but watched the female bartender drink from 2 beers before sending them with the server. Neither she or the server seemed to care at all..

Favorite pizza right now: pesto sauce , spinach , Gorgonzola , pepperoni , and sausage .

Awesome bar . If you like Dogfish Head beer , you owe yourself a trip here.

Try the Bucket Of Fried Jalapeños & Banana Peppers - Hella better than their fried dill pickle spears.
