Parking is $6 but it is free for all military as long as you have ID to show. Yearly membership is $30 and it is totally worth it. Great park for dog lovers like me!
It’s a lovely park , went there to fish , nice pier , fish weren’t biting. $6 per car, $5 if you have handicapped plates or placard.
No children under 6 are allowed at the dog beach , but you can bring your dog on leash to the human beach and let your little one wade!

The most beautiful city/county park I've ever seen. Don't miss the South River Overlook. Also, the bike path around the park is a calming ride, but be careful of the wet moss. Dogs love it here. - Jake Spencer
There is a rinse station near the bathrooms for washing off your sandy pup. For drivers: At the entrance to the park, you will be asked to pay $5 parking fee. - Pam Miller
This place has been in business for over 77 years, I’ve been visiting all my life, and so have my parents. I always get a cherry milkshake. My husband loves the double dogs with everything. - C Thompson
Fall off the bones ribs are some the best around. One of my favorites - Pam Pulley
