The Mitre Tavern

As the oldest pub in Melbourne, with skyscrapers around, while still in it's smaller size era, the meals, drinks and events are good. It's becoming the pub with more people outside than inside.

Best parmas in the CBD. Make sure you book for a Friday lunch though as the place is insanely busy. Service is always a quick and efficient too.

Head upstairs for one of the best steakhouses in town . Between $33 & $45 for premium and black angus . Side orders are pretty good too. Large beer selection (17 different ones)

Get in early afternoon or you will miss out on a table - or at times even somewhere to stand :)
