This is a tough hike but I highly recommend because the view at the top is worth it!
You have to have a "discovery pass" to park here now. It's 11 dollars for the day. Pick it up at Ace Hardware in town . Or you can get an annual pass for 35 bucks. Also at Ace.
The whole family will be in for a treat.
Make sure you have good shoes . Lots of rocks.
Aggressive hornets towards the top. They stung me 3 times in a row. Be careful!
2.6 miles easy to moderate hike . Takes ~1:15 to the summet
You can buy a Discover Pass at the nearby North Bend Ranger Station.

WTA.org describes a 4-mile round trip which takes you to a viewpoint overlooking Rattlesnake. Do yourself a favor and to about 2 more miles to the summit for a beautiful view of Mt. Rainier. - Heath Stewart
