Definitely hit up Popscene @Rickshaw Stop, typically on Friday nights! Great live music , stellar DJ's , and super fun dancing til the wee hours!
Sit upstairs to canoodle with your date at a mellow indie show, or do your thing downstairs for something more upbeat. They also host special nights like Cockblock, Nerd Nite and the Moth StorySLAM. Read more
The classic drink here is the Big Ole, a pint glass of vodka and Red Bull , classy . The drinks are strong and cheap , as is the entry price http://barchick.com/find-a-bar/san-francisco/rickshaw-stop
Fun music venue - drinks, dancing , & live music tucked between Van Ness and Franklin on Fell. My favorite time was when I saw Moving Units. Lookout for the purple tentacles painted across the front.
Awesome venue for any live band . Get tickets before they sell out, especially for Thursday's popscene. Drink specials are legit, and the bartenders are surprisingly nice & friendly .
Great drink specials for a music venue : vodka red bull and a whiskey ginger with bitters . Both come in a pint glass , both are $10. Turn up.
Popscene is a club night hosted by the venue Rickshaw Stop. Up and coming bands play perform and a DJ spins throughout the night. It's a great place to grab drinks and dance the night away!
Nice small venue with impressive acts. Check out the balcony and it's giant alligator bench . They have a special drink for whatever the headliner is. Park on mission between 10th and 11th.
This music gets the best indie-rock bands and electro-pop groups before they blow up!
The small venue is super nice and intimate . I loved watching Sasha Sloan perform here.
Great spot with great events and great staff . Def worth a visit.
Great intimate venue . Make sure you ask for the set times- headliners don't always play last, and they check for valid IDs all the time
Get here early to secure a good seat on the balcony , or anytime if you're tall enough to see from the floor.
Unnecessarily strict at the door with IDs, but a fun place to see an intimate show. If it's open, go upstairs.
Shows rarely start on time here. When in doubt, drive don't BART over or you may miss the headlining act.
Concert venue that's just the right size, has decent acoustics and puts on great acts
There's only two stalls in the women's bathroom , so plan ahead if you ever have to use the restroom - the line , especially on a girl's night, is unbelievable!
Popscene SF lives here. Great residents. Presents lots of live electronic bands, too. Excellent lighting. Take a photo in one of the Rickshaws!
Fun venue for a concert . Arrive a bit early and check out their cocktail selections - it will make standing through the crappy cover band somewhat entertaining.
Grab a seat on a couch or rickshaw upstairs and enjoy a show by an up-and-coming indie band. Or dance with all the hipsters on the main floor!
great concert space with kind of lousy drinks lol, just get a beer
see if you can get an impromptu tour of the sewing area- AMA ign collection of fabrics- laser pattern cutter & ladies sewing bags
Make sure you have cash for the bar and the merch table.
Cool relaxed concert venue with decent drinks and prices.
Every concert has an event cocktail . Usually a good deal to try something out of your regular.
They always have tasty drink specials created for whichever band is headlining . And the sangria is strong and tasty!
The 10 dollar pint cocktails are definitely worth the $. Bonus dick jokes at no extra charge.
The front left speaker by the stage is LOUD . Make sure to wear ear plugs. Another intimate venue to catch my favorite bands play.
Go early and play skee ball or foosball upstairs, then go down and dance your butt off.
cool venue with reasonably priced drinks
Slightly hipstery but good crowd and great staff . Bartenders pour heavy- tip them well .
custom bags the way to go - make sure to pick out some reflective labels for the bag
Buy tickets online/early shows sometimes sell out.
Sure random girl, I'll drank a free shot of tequila your drunk friend can't take :D #freedranks #yee
They have nightly cocktail specials on the board.
Check-out Non-stop Bhangra for the wildest dance scene in the city . http://nonstopbhangra.blogspot.com/2006/01/welcome-to-non-stop-bhangra.html
Champagne in a can is all you need to know about this venue.
It’s a super fun concert venue
