Give Scan, Bag, Go a try. If you have a larger order, definitely makes self-checkout much faster. You can even pay with the app at select locations. Carts have a nice holder for the handheld as well .
Really great store, I miss the electronics department but there is always city target or gateway Freddy's for that.
Everything you need, if not everything you want. There's a bar/growler station that's good beers , cheap and regularly packed for big games.

Skip the line for the bottle return and get a BottleDrop card from the kiosk upstairs. Much faster, and you get a 20% bonus back. There are fees, however.
Using self-checkout? Have your Fred Meyer card on your phone? Tap the call attendant button and they can scan it for you.
What's on your list today? You'll find it here...at Fred Meyer! Kudos to this store for getting rid of plastic bags. Go paper or bring your own!
Want to know how busy the checkout outs are? Look up at the QueVision TV . They're calculated in real-time.
Picking up an online order? The parking is around the corner from the bottle return, near the Blink chargers.
Dude, there's a dozen colors of RIT fabric dyes to choose from and you can still buy milk & eggs .
The Northwest Best. Very pleasing inside. Good deli and seating area. Other than being dirty , which is a given in its location, this is a great store
I didn't realize it until three months after I moved to Portland, but if you bring your own bag to use, they will credit you 5 cents off your total.
When checking out, leave your items in the basket instead of taking them out.. they love it.
Food. And flowers .
What would be great is if people learned how to walk. But this is more of a general Portland issue.
Need TriMet tickets? They're available at Customer Services.
