Omigosh great local favorite. Eclectic menu brings all the boys and girls to the yard. Reuben Gonzalez, Whippy Dippy, and Ba-Cock!! are all stellar standouts.
Hipster atmosphere with friendly staffs . They have great root beer selection . Their sandwich and brunch menus are great yet not too pricey .
My favorite restaurant in GR! Great local fresh food . The spinach dip is an amazing and hearty appetizer . You must get their fries with aioli sauce !!!
Can’t wait to come back to try more! The Goat cheese appetizer is a must. Any of the Mac ‘n Cheese dishes are splittable! ????
Amazing combinations of amazing foods. I had the corned beef hash sans dairy laden sauce (would if I could). It was still delicious!
I had the shrimp and grits which were so creamy and good. Everything on the menu sounded amazing
This place is the bomb! Their sandwiches are awesome, and they're always creating something new and delicious! They are really passionate about their food there!
This restaurant is my favorite in Grand Rapids! Staff is amazing and food is even better! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu!
Sweet potato fries w Garlic aioli is amazing. Food is fantastic. If you appreciate local homemade food , you'll love EC.
Saffron tomato bisque and half a grilled cheese . It's the adult version of my childhood lunch , and it's oh so good! Order with a root beer , a dessert , and if you're hungry, the sweet corn fritters , yu
Fantastic meal! Awesome fries and burger , lobster macaroni and cheese ending with giant freshbaked monster cookies , still hot from oven
Housemade root beer , lots of vegetarian and some vegan options . Sweet potato fries are thick and flavorful.
Great sandwiches (for vegetarians , too!). Interesting range of root beer . Fab service too.
They added a new brunch menu on 7/30; try the Electric Grandmother - cornmeal pancakes topped w/ syrup , green chile chutney & bacon ice cream . If it tastes a little bland add salt to bring out bacon .
New brunch menu is cool, but a smidge underseasoned. Used to bold flavors here w former menu. If you get the El Camino ask for some of their burrito sauce, it's green, you'll enjoy it more.
The Mexican Quinoa salad was amazing. I also had the old fashioned pretzels . I was not impressed by them.
My brothers Mac n cheese is excellent! ????????
The Cuban. It's not really a Cuban but it tastes so good you won't care. It has chorizo !
Get the pretzels as an appetizer ; fresh-baked & homemade , served w/ dijon and stone-ground mustard and cream cheese/chives. Salty goodness.
Best Reuben in Grand Rapids.. The Bloody Mary was on point also.
Can't go wrong! The Health Hut is my favorite and the fries are pretty spectacular.
You can't leave here without trying the fries with all the aioli dipping sauces ! Favorite sandwich : The Leftover Meatloaf .
Closest thing to a European French fry experience I've had in Michigan.
Very good and unique food. One of the best restaurants in the city .
Had the Mac and Chesse + fries ...it was good. However, the sandwiches looked great. Will try one next time.
Great food and beer . The portions are huge. I'd split a sandwich .
Once, long ago, this was my favorite place for breakfast . However it's become a relentless disappointment - the menu is intriguing but the execution is shoddy.
Sandwiches like pig Newton, goat and soups are fantastic
Wow! If you eat meat, you must try the French Dip ! The combination of homemade au jus, local ingredients , and that yummy horseradish sauce is fantastic!
great comfort food , fun rootbeer & warm yummy food
Mac n' cheese - regular or spanish - both to die for!
Amazing grilled cheese and sweet potato fries
I almost always start a meal with the spinach salad . The dijon vinaigrette is super light, and I feel you can never go wrong with anything that has goat cheese in it.
Get the cookies ... Who doesn't love fresh baked cookies !
The Optimus Prime sandwich is out of this world! Try it with their amazing sweet potato fries !
Sit at the counter next to the prep bar and take a walk through the menu.
Great food and great hospitality ! The Mac and Cheese Florentine was amazing!

They have a huge selection of root beers .
Amazing as always. Ruben gonzalez and sweet potato fries are the best
Fantastic menu. Fries are a must. Little expensive , but worth it.
Optimus Prime is outstanding
Hot goat dip is a must!
Chicken Toast
The 16 hour home smoked pastrami was so packed with flavor I almost passed out.
Root Beer Menu is pretty nifty! Only place I've been able to find Souix City Sarsaparilla since I was a little kid!
Try the Ginger Beer ! Delicious and way more gingery than Ginger Ale .
The hot goat dip is the bomb diggity!!! bucket list worthy!
Optimus prime is delicious! try it on the pretzel bun !
Awesome food! Try the Yatzee!
Can’t go wrong with the chef specials. Fall season just started and we got carrot cake pancakes and another polish sausage and egg breakfast. Wow! - Dave Everson
