Not the same as being on the ocean, but it's a great beach for families. Adults can stand even in the deepest portion of the roped off swim area. Bring floats and come early to avoid the crowds.

There are jelly fish in the water...be careful. The beach is very rocky...I recommend wearing your flip flops.
