Mitchell Park Horticultural Conservatory (The Domes)

Beautiful conservatory with desert, rainforest, and a seasonal dome. Unfortunately the third dome was closed for a seasonal change over. Worth the short trip for something new

The highlight of our entire trip. The most gorgeous, well decorated set of gigantic greenhouses ever. I felt lost in a fantasy land, and workers are excited to tell you all about everything.

This is a wonderful place to spend the day among beautiful plants and to learn about such pretty things all around us. Perfect for couples or to take the kids. We will definitely be back!!

The desert dome is closed right now, the show dome is okay but not amazing, the tropical dome is nice. Cute little birds and interesting plants. Find the sensitive plant and watch it in action!

Lately the Domes have been hosting live music on Tuesdays and Thursdays (Music Under Glass). It's the same price as normal admission and the extra bonus is, you can walk around the domes at night. Read more

Be sure and pick up some Stone Creek Coffee Sr. Maria Rosa coffee at the Domes Gift Shop to support an orphanage in Honduras.

Free every Monday morning for Milwaukee County residents. It's a great place to recharge and re-focus before your weeks kicks into high gear.
